Or possibly a trade tomorrow of Jaylen or Naz for a pick?

We could take on a little money and stay under the lux, for a small profit.

Ummm trade skeptics kept arguing that they were EACH worth a 1st.

Reid and picks would be a huge overpay for Bones when Nowell is still here. In that scenario Denver should be trading a 1st for Reid. Nowell and a second round pick sounds like a good deal to me for Hyland. Don’t forget that he’s an awful defender which was brought up on the GB with stats behind the claim. I like his potential too, but there wouldn’t be much difference between him and Nowell.

I think the winners here are Lakers/Lebron. They get two very good players on very good contracts. They get to audition DLo. If he doesn’t work, he expires, and they make a run at Kyrie this offseason.

They desperately needed shooting. They got it. And they got one of the most versatile bench defenders in the game. I think they clearly have passed us in likelihood for the playoffs. Do they knock us out of the playoffs?

I think Lakers won the deal, it's alright for the wolves and not sure why the jazz did it. Vando and beas are great role players and could be around for a while. I think it's a little late for them to be in the running for the 1st pick as well

Beas has a PO and the Jazz wanted a solid-to-good 1st that has legit upside.

I like Russell. I hate the deal.

Reminder: NAW is SGA's cousin

Why would we spend assets on a third center unless we’re moving Towns or Gobert in the offseason. And just as importantly, why would Naz resign here. He’s going to want to go somewhere he can play, produce, and get paid on his next contract too. Here, he risks possible DNPs when KAT/Gobert are healthy. It hasn’t worked well when he’s been paired with either one of them.

Honestly, NAW might be the plan at "PG" next to Ant. Defense. Shooting potential. Not ball dominant.

I think Kat is gone in less than a year. Unless wolves go far in playoffs.

I am so happy we are not signing dlo to another deal that we would certainly regret.

I don't know much about NAW..what's a good comparison for his playstyle ? How's he defensively ?

Was checking his stats..a short sample but his 3 pt shooting improved a lot this year

KAT/Conley/3 2nds could bring back a pretty nice haul...

I don't think lot of non-Wolves fans are aware of the fact that Wolves-DLo didn't reach an agreement on extension and that DLo was very likely to walkway as FA this off-season

Minimus would be happy we got NAW

Yay for Conley, I've had enough of D'Lo even if he was heating up the past few weeks. Conley fits much better and salary wise too.

Lakers running our last year's squad with D'Lo, Pat Bev, Vando and Beasley just change KAT and Ant to LeBron and Davis

Connelly doesn't stand pat on trade deadlines, those 2nds are helpful with the way he drafts. If he really does draft well, those will definitely help replacing late firsts we would've gotten if we had our picks.

He just inadvertently traded Vanderbilt and Beasley 3x times already

I am happy and thanks a lot to DLO for improving his value in the past two months, it was looking bleak at the start of the season for us.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
