They haven't shown much but I'd still take a swing on them depending on the price. They likely want a piece that can help this year that is on an expiring contract to reduce their tax burden.

Gary Harris' salary is almost an exact match for those two. Throw in our 2nd round pick as well, and I'd bite.

i'd be in with this as well....bamba going out....wiseman in....moody is another young shooter we can develop....there seems to be some options out there

I'd be good with that as well. We do seem to have the right type of contract to make something work.

Wiseman and Moody for Harris would surprise me. We need veteran role players, not prospects. If it happens I'll get excited for it but I'm staying on the Harris bandwagon until I'm forced off.

would be interesting.

Wont be surprised if we take in wiseman, after seeing what we did with Fultz and Isaac.

But I just dont think it is what we need at this time. We need a consolidation trade. Unless there is more to it and would help GSW lower there salary. Maybe add Cole and some expirings?

Bamba
Cole
Okeke

For

Moody
Wiseman

Moody is an interesting piece. Quality minutes last playoffs. And provides some shooting and defend for us at the 2. We free up some minutes at the point and Wiseman is a good developmental project.

Then we consolidate these pieces in the summer. We turn Bamba’s expiring and Okeke into assets we can trade. Also, we have a decision to make on Okeke this summer, its either we talk extension with him or let him enter RFA in 2024. I don’t think the latter is likely given the logjam with Isaac and Bol also playing better than him. Okeke would fit well with the Warriors IMO. Solid 3 and D guy.

We gave up a first to acquire Fultz. I don’t see why we won’t give up Cole for Wiseman and Moody.

it looks like Raptors want retool, not rebuild.

Warriors probably want player who has longer contract (?) and who can help them in playoffs. I highly doubt any of Magic tradable assets fits that criteria. They also expressed desire for another wing

I honestlly don't buy this.

They have Robert Williams and have no clue how to use him.
He was moved from bench to starter. Last year they struggled without him in regular season, this year they have 26-9 record without him :dontknow:

He brings rebounds and shotblocking as well as rim running. And is way better than Bamba.

So... if you are Boston, isn't it simply way easier to just play Robert off bench ?

Or whole purpose of trade is to just dump salary?

Celtics "death " lineup are Tatum, Brown,Brogdon, Horford and Smart. They also have White, Grant Williams,Robert Williams, Houster... they might as well play me along them and still be fine

I’m just glad we’re not ready to compete yet

Health aside, the Suns are the new favorites to win it all.

That said, I LOVE the deal for the Nets.

Celtics are probably dancing now, their only treat to go back to finals are 76ers and Giannis.

On flip side, feel sorry for Jokic, he probably thought he has path to finals and now Lakers and Suns just added nuclear power.
