Very, very well might be right. The ball movement piece is what sticks out here. Both guys are pretty good ball movers and fluid with the ball.

I dont hate the Olynyk idea. Will Barton isnt too bad as we have the same last name so having a Jersey of his would be cool...but other than that I now want to add Cam Johnson instead.

Celtics Not Moving Grant Williams?
One player connected to Okoro in trade chatter has been Boston forward Grant Williams, who is a restricted free agent this summer and was unable to come up with an agreement on an extension with the Celtics in the offseason. Cleveland has interest in Williams, but would have to create a bit more cap space to make a legitimate run at an offer next summer.

But the Celtics are not looking at moving Williams ahead of the deadline. He is still on his rookie scale contract, which pays him $4.3 million this season, and the Celtics are happy to keep that bargain in place. If there was a deal to be made for Williams, it would more likely be a sign-and-trade this summer or a deal at next year’s deadline.

“It would not make much sense to trade him now, not when he is a key part of that rotation,” one Eastern Conference exec told Heavy Sports. “You’d be breaking up a group that knows its roles for one thing. And he is worth a lot more to you after July 1, if you get him a new contract. You can bring back a much more valuable player.”

The Suns got much better with the KD trade, but Chris Paul's nearing the end of his career. Rob Williams is more likely than Chris Paul to stay healthy.

On paper that Phoenix Big 3 does seem really good and the fit is there…but I just don’t see it. I don’t even know why, but I don’t.

Well let’s not forget just last week, Saric alone outplayed all our bigs combined. Horf with 3pts, Rob with 6pts, Kornet with 4pts and Grant with 0pts. They’re 3rd big Landale getting rebounds and dunks inside. We lost to them with almost a complete lineup minus booker and KD. So let’s not be too cocky.

Well the game before we beat them by a billion points.

And they just traded away their best defender.

Don't see an impact big guy left that is available. It's not Plumlee, Bamba, Olynyk etc. especially with what the Celtics are offering. The best Stevens can do today is just add a piece SF/PF/C for depth purposes.

Realest possible news for the dead guy.
Did not know that.

By his logic, going by points per game for example, that means Jim Paxton is as good Steve Nash was because they both averaged 14.3 PPG.

I understand point are far from the be all end all.

That was in response to how no one would be able to stop their offense and how awesome it was...

Our top 3 score more than their top 3....

Durant to Phoenix, yawn.

It’s amazing to see Celtics fans on here don’t value defence and just want to always whinge about our team no matter how high we are in the standings.

Look maybe the Suns do end up being very good. But as you said we heard the same about the Nets. The Suns just traded their best wing defender. Ayton is a garbage defender. Sure they got an amazing scorer, but you need an elite defence to win in this league.

I will be very surprised to see them be elite on both ends with their current roster.

Cleveland can have him now...just need to give up Mobley... :)

Not the NBA's cute little power ranking article that is only put out as content filler. Whereas, mind you, Jaylen barely cracked it at 10. The actual top 5 for MVP

I’m honestly wondering if a few on here have even bothered to watch Chris Paul recently too.

Still a smart player. Can have games where he resembles Clipper CP3. But he’s far less of a player than he was 2-3 years ago.

The Nets team with Harden was way more stacked.

Maybe it’s the fraudulent 70 burger from a few years ago but Booker will always be an overrated stat padding chucker to me. I think he’s quite over rated personally. If you want to say he’s better than Brown I wouldn’t put up a huge fight but the gap is minimal if any.

He may not have defenses honing in on him, but he’s not going to have as many shots either. I don’t expect much change in his numbers at all

Brown is absolutely the better player, better athlete and defender. Booker is a scoring combo guard, if his shot doesn’t fall he’s useless

Eh. Booker is a better play maker / ball mover. Defense, it's debatable.

JB is more explosive in transition, usually a stronger finisher near the rim. But he also is more turnover prone.

Booker was also the number 1 option on a team that went to the NBA finals one year, then had best record in the league the next year. JB has only been the no. 2 guy, albeit a VERY good one.

I think most people around the league would say Booker is better. But it's close..

I mean c'mon, Booker was FOURTH in MVP voting last year. It's hard to make an argument for JB being better. Let's not be too biased here towards celtics players..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I think the Nets blew it. In my opinion, I would have forced the team that traded for Durant to take Ben Simmons. No Simmons, no Durant.
