I assume trading bryant for 3 seconds is a precursor for another move?

Rob is a moron if Lakers don't get something great from this.

Move doesn't really make sense without it being a set up for another

Still, I don't think it's a huge deal losing Bryant. Really hard to have a competent defense when your center on the floor is a sieve

Wtf is this? TB was huge offensively with AD out. Better be a precursor for another deal.

This is a good move, they weren't going to resign him next season. Good to get draft capital for him.

More minutes for Gabriel and Vanderbilt who are loads better defensively which is all you need from that position with the shooting the Lakers acquired.

Kd move somewhat hampered my excitement at this very decent move we made . However I don’t think the suns will be unstoppable. On paper it’s an insanely talented top 4; even with cp3 and Ayton being so so.

Correct me if im talking nonsense but all FOUR of the suns players like taking midrange jumpers . Kd doesn’t really drive or create rim pressure like he used to. 4 guys who want to take midrange jumpers is infinitely less scary than the gsw teams. Suns lost to Mavs last year because even though they’re a historic mid range team they can’t compete with three ball.

Suns offence will be unstoppable in the clutch . But rim pressure/scoring + threes> mid range jumpers. Even if those jumpers coming from great mid range shooters. I think they’ll be a lot of overlap in the suns offence come playoff time and they may very well get knocked out by an inferior team cos of shot selection. However it’s still scary opposition. I’d much rather the lakers face the nuggets who they match up well with if they make it to post season.

Kd is a bitch though. Cp3 and Ayton I don’t trust too much , however they may still walk away with it but I’m not gonna be a doomer.

Interesting but when kyrie was rumoured our odds of winning dropped from 40/1 to 22/1, and roughly returned to that range after last night . Solid move by Pelinka , not sure if he’ll commit the other pick this year or not. Definitely think GTJ shouldn’t be too expensive but the raptors seem to be trading picks to become blazers east instead of blowing it up and resetting . Raptors fans don’t seem happy bout it but they’re probably over valuing their guys.

I don't understand why the Nets had to make this trade now vs waiting till the summer? Why the rush?

I agree with this about the Suns.

LAL should call Brooklyn and ask if Beverley/Lonnie/Christie/Reeves/3 2nds/2029 Unprotected 1st can get them Mikal Bridges

They should ask, but that offer doesn't seem even close to what it'd take.

From Utah I'd easily be willing to put up 3-4 1st rounders.

Bro u could prolly get AD for that many picks lol

Don't worry, Utah will still have enough for him too.

Bev, DLo, LeBron, Vando, Davis
Schroeder, Beasley, Reaves, Rui, Gabriel
Lonnie, Christie, Brown

Not a fan of this deal, but seemed liked Bryant wanted more playing time I guess

Vando and Bryant would have fit well together off the bench

But lets what happens in the next 2 hours

I think we make another 1-2 moves tbh

I hope we can make another move man.

Bucks getting Crowder is big, real big. I really like it for them. Holiday-Crowder-Middleton-Giannis-Lopez is really nasty.

They were willing to shoot their own dcks off just to make sure Kyrie didn't land in LA. Doesn't look like they will take even an overpay if they think it helps the Lakers.

I don't think that was anti-LAL; that was anti-Kyrie.

Dude I really appreciate your passion; but we're not getting GTJ for 1-2 2nds when Crowder was just traded for 5 2nds.
