I hope this doesn't turn into another McGee situation where Jones is too happy and doesn't get the final piece.

we've put out much worse line ups out there this season. As long as they stay top 6 in the west I'm ok I guess. But it's not gonna be easy.

I wonder if Harden signs with us. Him and KD are still cool. They both hate Kyrie

So after this season, Irving may look to join Durant here! How pissed would Dallas be then IF he left to join a conference rival they clearly despise!! Just to possibly see the level of meltdown from Diva Dallas fans and Doncic nut huggers would be so epic!! The icing on the cake though would be Doncbi*** getting really frustrated and leaving Dallas!.......

Explain how this is done? I suppose if Kyrie says he will leave Dallas, they could take back CP3 and Craig or something to get something out of it.

That's about the only way.

But if we did, it would be awesome from a talent standpoint and we wouldn't drop off the latter half of the decade.

But we'd turn into the Nets and have to deal with Kyrie's shenanigans.

At this point given what it appears we look like 26-29 I'd be happy to take it though.

OR.......................

Dallas wants Ayton to play with Luka, So when it comes to the prospect of Irving telling him he won't resign, They can do a sign n trade swap for Ayton?? But yes, the suns could also look at a similar premise of a Paul/ Irving trade, rather than straight losing him for nothing. Ultimately, It'll be up to Jones to figure out the B's and C's of a potential Irving offseason premise. I would say though that IF the suns truly don't value Ayton as much as they would Irving in the NBA's current climate, and might also seek to Durant's interests as well, then it makes a lot of sense given the Mavs interest in Ayton too! Then the suns would seek a cheaper, more basic center replacement option perhaps? :dontknow:

Don't stop posting, just come with an open mind and have some fun with this team. Stopping posting and only coming back to throw out a 'i told you so' about your favorite team failing seems like a joyless plan.

Time for a break, but appreciate it.

Ayton is my favorite player on Suns now and he just gets **** on non stop here anyways so probably not a good place to be.

Yeah, it does make the board more unbearable than I remember. People can't enjoy a good team. A loss that comes down to one possesion is one person's fault, though only if it's a particular person, even if they have an overall good game.

But no need to stop posting. We don't need the echo chamber. I know many people who like Ayton stopped posting. At least 10 (or they very rarely post)...it would be nice if they posted more.

I think we are going to have to rely alot on Torrey if we are going all the way- for better or for worse

We have Okogie who I think is a better defender than Craig but you're right, the move might be to trade Ayton for depth and defense. At least the Suns think that. We do need defense

Suns are obviously building around Booker and Ayton.
I think we can stop saying we will trade Ayton now. He’s the future with Booker when CP and KD are gone.

Me and you both love Ayton. He needs to buy in on basically being a defensive center now though. Chris Paul is gonna be even more of a dick since we're now the title favorites.

If you mean CP3 is going to push him more, what is wrong with that?

I just hope Ayton continues to bring the energy he had in the last 2 games. He will get plenty of touches with this new starting five. Booker, CP3 and Durrant are willing passers. I can see Ayton's numbers getting even better, if he brings energy.

I hope we do not do something stupid like trade Ayton for the midget in Toronto as some are suggesting.

I also think we have some exceptions to use on the buy out market which could be very useful. Gordon would be nice.

Davon Reed is a really good defender.

Let's let Kyrie stay the **** away from Phoenix. Let's ban Kyrie Irving's name from being invoked on this **** forum please. Just make it a swear word so it's only asterisks ever. Nope. No. Just absolutely NO.

This report that the Suns were going to pivot to John Collins of Atlanta in a 3-way deal is 100% incorrect. It was KD or minor moves to support the Suns core.

sunskerr wrote:I'll roll the dice on irving if he's replacing the obviously declining paul (who has clearly reached upper role player status now) and we can't get like FVV or Rozier.

So he's pretty far down my wishlist. Heck I think with Durant we could pull off like a Rubio/McConell level point guard, and that might be better basketballwise especially if we can get some decent role playing ring chasers.

Either way I really hope CP3 is gone with an adequate replacement next year. He's lost so much defensively it's insane.

The positive for Kyrie is he can really leverage is way here this offseason. Tell Dallas they lose him for nothing. Dallas will have no choice but to take something like Paul and Craig back unless they want to lose that salary space.

The first game with everyone healthy will be surreal. If Shamet and Lee aren’t practicing corner 3’s right now Monty should be fired.
