Dread it. Run from it.
The tank rolls on all the same.

Imagine not even lottery protecting the pick. Or at least top 10.
That’s all that’s needed to see that Masai is washed
Is Masai even doing his job? It really just proves Bobby is a a one-hit wonder, he's in over his head.

why bother, some fans are going to come out with a list of picks of 7-30th picks from 2001 to 2022 and tell us only 3% become stars. the percentage is too low! a starting center is worth way more.

Kind of good that we got punched in the mouth this year and masai is facing some criticism. It was too good for too long and sometimes that can get to your head. Invincible Mario always runs out.
The grace period after the chip is over. No more screwing around. Masai is still one of the best in the league. He's not washed lol.
But now its time to FIX your mistakes and see what your made of. The off-season is going to be interesting to say the least.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
Your team is the 11th seed with 2 UFAs looking for big money and chemistry issues. It’s the trade deadline and it’s time for you to make a decision on the future of your team.
Do you think to yourself that I need to keep my team intact and trade a top-6 protected 1st in 2024 for a centre that is also a UFA?
No, because that would be stupid.

the Fred non-trade I can understand as a TWO move. But the Poeltl trade will go down as exceeding Bruno, Demarre Carroll etc as Masai's worst move, when we end up sending the Spurs a lottery pick in 2024 (>6)

Tanking is back on the menu?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Is Turbo_Zone still around?
Need one of those classic signatures of "We got your pick" but with Gregg Popovich smiling instead.

I wonder if Masai thinks most teams have caught up to them in terms of drafting, after the bizarre Thad trade down deal and now this move when we're so far back.
From my view, OG dropping because of an injury at his size and mobility and flashes of shooting never made sense, and teams should have been expected to catch up to that level of analysis, Van Vleet's stats were right there (I always repeat this, but Kevin Pelton had Van Vleet ranked #1 in the draft off of pure stats), but Siakam and Norm were truly inspired picks. Poeltl was a a dead rubber pick, everyone had him around 9th and we picked him there.
Anyways, best thing that could happen realistically is a non-serious injury or 2, we keep everyone and get a high pick.
Where's the D?

Poeltl doesn't move the needle. We're still on track for Wemby.
I just hope we're good enough next season so that the pick doesn't go to SAS. A tanking team trading a lightly protected FRP was stupid, to say the least.

Masai is in denial. Dude probably thinks we are contenders, hence trading away a 1st round pick. Masai, wtf were you thinking???
He is all-in on this garbage treadmill core.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
I guess the important question now is what position will Victor play with Yak on the team?
Do we bring Poeltl off the bench?
Do we play Victor at PF and move Scottie to PG or SF? Then, what do we do with Pascal? Trade him?
So many questions.

It was an objectively bad move, just on paper alone. And him and Bobby should be called out.
Unless its MLSE forcing him to try and win now, then I’ll give a bit of grace but its still objectively stupid.
