From hearing Magic fans talk about him, he sounds like Gerald Green during his time here. A gunner that can light it up from 3 when he’s on. Also has athleticism he shows from time to time attacking the basket.

Many Magic fans say he can probably show more elsewhere than he did in Orlando because of him having played with trash PGs during his entire tenure in Orlando.

I think playing with CP3/Book/KD should open up some good looks for him.

A guy off the bench that could give you a 15pt triple double on a random night is something we could certainly use and won't allow the opposing team to rest when we have 2 or 3 of our stars resting.

I just think on a team with far fewer media microscopes and not being part of some faux big 3 would help him just by reducing the pressure. And if we can sign him to the minimum (still not sure if he'd go for it), if it doesn't work, we can just bench him or waive him.

How does Russ dominate badly?

Guys KD and Russ are never willing going to play together again.

We hear about players being bought out every year and how very few actually make an impact with their new team. Terrance Ross can have a real impact on the Suns. He is not a player that should be on the buy out market, Suns got a steal. Good things are happening to this organization.

Better Terrance Ross than Eric Gordon. Gordon is a capable scorer, but with the addition of Kevin Durant, the Suns needed a pf who can knock down around 38% of their 3’s, stretch the floor and we got that player. He can give us decent amount of minutes in the playoffs and for that this was an excellent pick up.

Yeah, when Durant played all those years with Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden such a stacked team who managed to make the finals once but nothing after that. Durant would be silly to join up with Westbrook again.

Russ had his cupcake post after KD left and they've had subtle shots at each other through the media over the years.

Plus I just don't see Russ' ego wanting to come play some bit role off the bench for a team that KD is staring on. Or even more embarrassing losing his rotation spot to his former backup and dance partner Payne.

Do you not remember the whole KD burner account fiasco?

KD, accidentally posting from his REAL twitter account, responded to someone asking why KD would leave, with "C'mon, KD can't win with those cats" or something like that.

No one realized why he was talking about himself in 3rd person until they tracked down his burner accounts and realized what he said. He may have deleted it quickly. I don't remember all the details.

It's safe to say they do not respect each other. Besides, Paul George is actively recruiting him to LA.

lol just Russ being Russ, as in overdoing everything. Shoots it too much when he's off. Just missing lay ups. Making poor decisions on offense. Turning it over on a pass. Because he will have above average usage, he'll dominate and when he's bad, he's dominate with the bad.

But he can also dominate positively too and we've seen that throughout his career.

What's the go with the missed games? Are they tanking related?
Youth movement. Paolo and Franz are splitting the SF minutes. Gary Harris got hot early in the season. I personally prefer Ross over Harris because he can create a little. Harris has to be wide open to get a shot off. Ross can elevate 40+ inches to get a jump shot off.

Interesting. Can't blame me for not watching many Orlando games but I thought Paolo would be mainly playing in the front court. Didn't realise he's playing a decent amount at the 3 as well.

He started more than half of the games at SF. Currently, he starts at PF, and Franz comes out after 6 minutes, then Isaac comes in at PF to move Paolo over to SF.

Ahh that's good to know. I was watching largely end of close-ish games when I did watch Orlando so didn't know who was starting.

Paolo is a baller!

I remember I wanted Terrence Ross in the draft we ended up with Kendall Marshall. Ross ended up being gone at that point and I remember how pissed Raptors fans were that they didn't take Drummond and went with Ross instead. The first round in that draft is pretty weak after AD, and then Lillard who slipped to 6th and Barnes at 7th. Interestingly, after that the best players in the draft were all 2nd round picks with Draymond Green, Middleton, Crowder and also Barton. I remember wanting a SG and it was between Ross and Lamb and I slightly preferred Ross. Kerssed was all over Austin Rivers thinking he'd be an immediate star. None of those guys ended up being there when we took the great Kendall Marshall.

Did you forgot about the playoffs against GSW when they were up 3-1 and Russ acted as if he's the guy on the team and Klay torched them. K.D left during the offseason to the Warriors because he couldn't stand to play with Russ again
