Take care of business tonight against Orlando and we'll be tied for 4th in the West.

Also Doncic left injured last night, if he misses time the Mavs are in trouble.

Dillon Brooks I tell you…

Grayson Allen would be proud.

The cherry on the top happened to be Reggie Miller trying to convince the audience the move was inadvertent.

Front Court: Lauri Markkanen (Utah Jazz)
Front Court: Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings)

Wild Card: Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers). #5 in guard voting
Wild Card: Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies). #13 in forward voting

Other guard snubs: Fox #6, Booker #7, Westbrook #8, Edwards #9

It really looks to me like they should have used both wild cards on guards. Even so, it will be tough for Ant to get in as an injury replacement. He was #13 in West Coast Guard fan vote.

I think Silver would pick Fox over Edwards because the Kings have a better record, the numbers are similar and Fox is older.

I agree. And if Luka sits (he was a guard), Fox would probably get the call over Ant.

So is it possible another injury could happen between Steph, Ja, SGA or Dame? Maybe.

I suppose it’s possible a JJJ injury could open a spot for Ant, but I doubt it. Even though he was a Wild Card, it looks to me they intentionally chose a forward. Fox and Ant are both better initial choices for the second Wild Card. So I think if JJJ got hurt, they would look to replace him with another forward. (Or call Ant - he’ll play SF if you ask him!)

Now that Curry is out, is it going to be Fox or Ant to take his place? I think Doncic is out too. Maybe even DLo has a chance to make the all star team :-)

DLo would be the nobody else is left option (see Tyler Hundley Pro Bowl).

It would be nice if Ant made it since he deserves it, but selfishly I’d rather let him have the rest.

I feel sorry for the BKN. They should had won last night against Clippers and played competitively vs Phx tonight without any stars and replacements. It's not helping Wolves in the process.

non trade related question: How does KD and Kyrie's all star spot work? Do they dress as Nets? play as east or west or not in?

There's no East/West. It's a playground picke'em...

The interesting question would be what happens if they had to pull out...what conference gets the replacement. I think still East in that case.

Probably. Silver will likely pick Curry's replacement from the West and Durant and Brown's replacements from the East. A shame for Ant because I think Fox is a lock to replace Curry.

*Now thinking about it, Ant could also replace Zion. I think there's position flexibility there.

Vanderbilt getting national recognition tonight. Van Gundy praise his hustle play and want to interview him. Feels only like yesterday that national media was wondering why he was getting playing time with Wolves. It's sad that a player has to go to a big market team to get visibility. Lakers looking good after getting Hachimura and Russell for Russell.

I don't know if he will ever be healthy. Hopefully, the Pelcians fall off a cliff for the rest of the season, we are going to need all the help we can get. I think the Lakers will make a big push and the Mavs and Suns are for sure going to be solid playoff teams.

The Magic waive Pat...
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Surprised no Ant in the 3 point contest. He seemed eager to enter and he definitely has enough made 3's to warrant consideration.

Really glad to see Okogie doing well with Suns despite his shooting issues... It didn't work out here at Wolves but will always root for dude.

General Soreness lost today, always nice to see.

Not sure if anyone else shares my disdain for the Hawks (or specifically their fans) but they also got shlapped by the Knicks. Also nice to see.

Nice results for us tonight: Pelicans and Mavs both lose so we're in the 6th spot. only 2.5 out of third.
