The West is a hot mess and has been for most of the season. Instead of teams separating themselves from the pack like normal, more teams are falling into the pack (except the Nuggets). 3.5 games between 6th and 13th and only 2.5 more could take you from 6th up to 3rd.

-- Pau Gasol is a low end or borderline NBA HoFer with a huge international resume as well. So he's no-argument overall.

-- Becky Hammon made the WNBA's 25-greatest list, so she's a no-argument HoFer too.

-- Tony Parker is more debatable, IMO, but I'd lean toward Yes, especially since he has somewhat of an international resume too.

Parker is a 6x all star, 4x NBA champion, Finals MVP and a member of the winningest NBA trio of all time. Between his teardrop and his spin move, he has two instantly recognizeable moves. He is 6th all time in playoff games played, playoff assists and 10th in playoff points. I'm not saying he is a top 10 playoff performer of all time but that's also not a level of production that can be simply be dismissed as a by product of playing his entire career on really good teams (there are lots of other factors at play there but I don't think it's entirely coincidental that the Spurs haven't won a playoff series since he left). He is also one of the most accomplished and influential FIBA player of the last decades.

Whatever criteria you want to use, whether it's individual performance, team success, international play or influence on the game, he's done more than enough to be a Hall of Famer. If the Hall of Fame is letting guys like Chris Webber in, there's absolutely no argument to leave Parker out.

How is parker debatable? He should be lock to the hall of fame. Multiple champion, finals mvp, multiple times all nba. If guys like mitch ritchmond, grant hill, mcgrady, sabonis, divac, ralph sampson, chris mullin can get in, parker is a shoe in 1st ballot hof.
