You've really elevated your status with some of these awful takes. As though scoring in the G-League is even remotely comparable to the NBA.

Skill level is very easy to assess, translating it to the NBA is another thing of course, it would be impossible for him to stick around even in G-League with a 7'10 standing reach if his skill level wasn't outstanding, which of course it is.

Publicity stunt or not, it's nice to have someone who looks like a podcaster on the team. Representation matters.

The NBA just didn't want to confuse the kids/casual audience.

Seriously, don't understand what's weird about what I said. It is easy to understand why McClung is not in the NBA with his great skill level, Maxey has a 8'3.5 standing reach while McClung only 7'10, so more than 5 inches of difference which is the difference between being able to get a shot off or not. It's not about skill level, it's simply a length issue.

Good start to the dunk contest. Love listening to Draymond hating on everyone.

Yea, that was actually impressive. Dunk contest has sucked for a while, but these guys could really fly today and did some creative things. McClung was nasty

Years from now, “Who is the first Sixer to ever win the dunk contest“ is going to stump a lot of trivia contestants.

World Series and Superbowl championships are trivial matters. Dunk contests are the pursuits of kings.

Congrats Mac, some sick and creative dunks. Love that he was doing them on his first try as well, not like Nate Robinson, and Birdman.

Before Mac McClung, the most athletic guy in terms of vert leap on our team is Tobias Harris. Adding this guy makes our team’s average vert leap to be league average.
