--Wade, Dirk and Popovich are no-argument NBA HoFers.

-- Pau Gasol is a low end or borderline NBA HoFer with a huge international resume as well. So he's no-argument overall.

-- Becky Hammon made the WNBA's 25-greatest list, so she's a no-argument HoFer too.

-- Tony Parker is more debatable, IMO, but I'd lean toward Yes, especially since he has somewhat of an international resume too.

How is parker debatable? He should be lock to the hall of fame. Multiple champion, finals mvp, multiple times all nba. If guys like mitch ritchmond, grant hill, mcgrady, sabonis, divac, ralph sampson, chris mullin can get in, parker is a shoe in 1st ballot hof.

Fair enough. Perhaps I was underrating him.

This dude is gonna be a problem in the league for a long time.

Scary to think that Orlando could get 2 top 10 picks this year too, since they get the Bulls pick.

It was a no-brainer for Orlando to take Paolo number 1. Crazy that so many people were saying they should take Jabari Smith.

Ideal situation for Orlando IMO is to draft either Victor or Scoot number 1 or number 2 (depending on what pick they get, ideally it's a top 2 pick) and then trade the Bulls pick for a proven vet who can complement their young core.

Do that and they'll be scary good for the foreseeable future.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Quietly Orlando is 19-15 since starting 5-20. They are way too good to fall back into the tanking group and the Bulls pick is top 4 protected so it's fairly unlikely they'll get a top 5 selection this year. Which is just as well because they are probably are going to be one of the best teams of the conference going forward (they also have Denver's pick in 2025, a bunch of extra second rounders and cap space). John Hammond might not get the hype of executives like Daryl Morey but after assembling the Giannis/Middleton Bucks that's the second time he has nailed a rebuild.

Yeah, you're probably right - they're too good to get Victor or Scoot. We'll they'll still likely get 2 top 10 picks. I still think they should keep 1 to draft a good young player. And trade the other pick for a vet who can complement their young core.

Would be cool if they drafted both of the twin brothers.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

The Thompson twins have lived in Fort Lauderdale since 8th grade too..

I couldn't care less about the AS weekend. I know its meant to be this big fun show case, but to me it's just a disruption of the season. Is it just me?

I think I've watched a grand total of 5 minutes of AS weekend in the last decade.

If it sounds like there were a couple good dunks I may catch them on YouTube.

E.g., this year's alleged 540 that's really a 450 reverse.

Think of it like school vacation. People need it. And they lengthened it so that the All Stars get a few days off too.

Whether you want to watch the “fun” is entirely up to you — I watched the shootout last night and will probably tune in tonight because I like the innovations of picking teams and then playing each quarter for charity separately, also with a “target score” ending to the game. But I don’t expect to enjoy it all that much — just barely enough.

Devastating for Lonzo and the Bulls. Happy Ainge didn’t listen to RGM fake-trading Smart for Ball a couple seasons ago.

They gonna be good in the future. They also tons of guards that are up and coming. Guys like Suggs and Cole can’t even get regular mins because they are loaded.
