How about we wait for the season to close before anybody is clamoring any "I told you so" on either side. This could continue to turn into a forgetable season regardless. Were getting players off the buyout market. Were severly dropping the goal post around here on what a succesful GM does for a team. If we were a top 3 team in the legue these would be great signings to bolster the depth chart, were barely staying above water as a 7th seed that has one of the worse offenses in the league, these guys are not moving the needle that far like some of yall are currently thinking.

Some of us are just happy that Sleepy Pat woke up and is trying something, even if the needle is only moving a centimeter.

Ok.

I was just checking the stats and saw that Miami is averaging 41.4 rebounds per game, 27th in the league. Rebounding has been so bad for us this year. We are 20th in differential.
Zeller and Love give you a combined 25 boards per 36.
I feel like theyre going to help a lot if they get minutes.

Watching these highlights from Zeller, He doesn't seem like a slow footed big at all like I've seen some Heat fans say he is. I know he's had a bad injury history and last he was in the league he had surgery to repair a patella fracture, So may be a different story now.
Edit- realizing some of these highlights from quite a while ago. I saw Al Jefferson and Hedo Turkoglu in there![]()
But he hasn't played for over a year now so hopefully that's allowed him enough time to heal and get back to a respectable level. He could possibly have a similar impact to Dedmond when he first came here after having a year off.
Would be a nice surprise to be able to have a guy who could possibly give us 10ppg/7rpg off the bench in 20mins.
Hopefully he hasn't lost all the bounce he had prior to his surgery. He should allow us to continue running similar PnR actions we do with Bam while he's sitting, obviously not as good but we weren't getting anything close with Dedmond even at his best. I can see him and Oladipo having some good chemistry in the PnR off the bench since they were college teammates and seem like they were tight.

I don't believe you. I see Love as a guy more than one team was interested and is still a quality rotation player. Zeller is clearly an insurance. A cheaper version of Dedmon.RexBoyWonder wrote:Desperate times call for desperate measures.
And believe me - these moves are desperate.
