I really don't think who starts right now is a big deal. Cause regardless we going to get 25+ minutes from each of RJ, Hart, Quickley and Grimes. And I like the way IQ and Hart come in and inject energy.

And to counter previous/coming posts, it is very different then the Elfrid Payton situation cause Elfrid didnt deserve the token 20 minutes he was getting as a starter. If that were ever the case with RJ and Grimes then it would parable, but Grimes defense and shooting will always have a positive effect on the court, and I am hopefully that RJ snaps out of his funk and goes back to being a good secondary playmaker, downhill finisher and solid catch and shoot option from the corners and competent defender, which this team definitively needs.

it's hard to say who gets what minutes because from what I can tell Thibs often goes with the hot hand to close games

I'm guessing he means they should not be stupid.

I wouldn’t go so far to insult people like that, especially since it’s it’s only been three games and he’s shooting out of his mind

My overall point was that Hart is looking good, the secondary aspect was half-joking/banter that people who were critical of the deal are getting nervous that they might be wrong (as iron mantis pointed out, some would indeed be glad to be proven wrong if it’s good for the Knicks, yet we all know others would rather be right in their opinion even if it’s to the detriment of the team, and still yet others just trash everything the Knicks do no matter what, let’s not be naive here)

it was a very pointless comment that I made a week ago mostly to compliment Hart’s hot start and spark further conversation about the trade with the new information we have. Surprised at the defensiveness about it

****
I didn't mean it pointed at him.

There just seems to be a contingent that wants to keep all our picks forever without actually drafting anyone.

Knox, Frank, Obi - not a group to hold out for.

Sure Mitch is okay (but can't score or keep on the court) and Grimes shows promise. Deuce is a G league wonder but a spot reserve here.

None of them is worth keeping vs. getting a valuable 2-way player under 30 who can help us - especially since we are not tanking under this owner or FO.

Yeah I agree with that. Hart seems a great fit for this organization and city, I hope he's here a long time

Who or what are "Hart deniers"?

Why aren't they "feeling so good"?

The Knicks are winning and there's a lot of good energy surrounding the team.

the many people who were criticizing the trade I guess

Ah I see.

They really aren't "deniers" unless they are hating on him.

What you describe is more like doubters: folks who didn't watch Hart play before and who don't believe in the FO's ability to make a good trade.

Any who doubted that trade must be elated that Hart is playing worth more than the value of that 1st rounder.

rob just say you hate kids and move on.

you're creating a mythical opponent - no one was actually saying hart isn't good. some of us were just a lil miffed about the pick that's going out.

Keeps shipping out 1st rounders for bench help .
Gonna catch up eventually while other teams ship 1st and assets for kyrie or Dlo, Malik, Vanderbildt.

Guess am the type of poster Robi was trying to bully but I’m ok with trade now . If teams flames out people will revisit.

You could still get your wish if the Knicks don’t make the playoffs but would that really be worth it

Geeze man why do some always seem to try and create these 'team' this or 'team' that stuff, are your lives so devoid of genuine meaning that these imaginary petty internet fan feuds fill that emptiness in your life?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Stirring up contention on the board like high school chicks.

Knicks are flying high and the team is fun, why instigate drama?

Just enjoy the team's play.

I made that comment a week ago, you stirred it up, there is no drama as far as I’m concerned if people want to take a 6 word comment like “hart deniers not feeling so good” personally I can’t help that

Yep, and odds are the team itself will provide the drama we don't need to create it.

You were directly taunting folks.

I asked you a genuine question for clarity, and gave a positive response, devoid of any standoffish-ness.

If you're taunting and baiting folks, dont be surprised when you get the drama you're looking for. :dontknow:

If people are upset about losing the pick we can try to re-sign Knox, Frank, Mudiay, Vonleh and Elfrid. Thats FIVE 1st round picks to trade for a star

Well I know we can expect whoever is selected by Portland (or the next 10 picks after that one) to be dragged out any time they have a good game. But I am good with Hart

Things aren't black and white, all one or all the other. Fans can like Hart, like getting him in the deal but still question something about it like the cost or the cumulative cost considering the lineage of the deals this FO has used to this point.

This FO isn't immune to any criticism but they also shouldn't be completely dismissed either because they have some positives as well. They were praised for signing iHart but as he struggled early that opinion changed which then changed again as soon as he started to come around.

There were the criticisms of assets wasted and contract cost of getting Brunson at the beginning but now that opinion has completely changed. So to try and hold this poster or that one to one moment in time or one comment as being their opinion forever is pretty inane and disingenuous.

As new information comes to light, things progress and unfold we are allowed to change our opinion along with it. If someone is the type that invests so much of their self worth and validation into their opinion then they likely are the type who projects that personal validation onto others' opinions.

I know this is an internet forum and we talk crap about everything all the time so even if that's good ass game it's also good to keep things in perspective...it's not that big of a deal, it's just people talking on the internet.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
