If he's such a beast, why doesn't he get to the FT line? :reporter:

Being a foul merchant doesn’t make you a beast.

Fair enough. TS% of .540.... Taylor Hendricks is .597.

I think Walker will be Isaiah Stewart with better handles.

Stewart is attempting four 3's per game this season and has improved his FT% to over 70%. Walker is averaging 11ppg. When playing against 6'9-6'11 PF's will he be affective?

Hard time seeing Walker not being picked in top 10.

I'm confident he's going to be a really good catch and shoot guy, but how much is that one quality worth?

Jarace Walker doesn't get to the line either. I guess a lot of guys outside of the top 3 have red flags.

Isn't Walker projected late loto though?

My concern would be taking Gradey top 10.

his stock has risen, top 10

Kobe making a strong case to be selected in the 1st rnd.

It was an exciting weekend of college ball. 2 OT games, a buzzer beater.

Man, please let Taylor Hendricks make it to us if we're outside the lottery.

Imma throw his name back in the mix with his recent 20+pt games but if he can keep being more aggressive, there's still something about Sidy Cissiko that I really like even though his name really fell off with the slow start. Not at all saying he should be the pick but he still seems like an intriguing player to me...guess we'll see if he can keep it up.

He's the combo guard version of OG. Makes Barnes type passes too.

He's just shooting if from wherever! 3's a few feet beyond NBA range on balance and hitting over 33%.

Feel like you left out his best vid lol but yeah like I said if he shows more consistent aggression, you have to love the flashes of potential he shows especially when we're picking somewhere in the mid-round. From what I've heard his shot has improved later into the season. He also already seems so physically mature, he's only going to get stronger so you'd think with his flashes off ball-handling he's going to be able to muscle around smaller defenders too...like I said still seems really intriguing to me lol

I am a Bufkin Believer. I just love his attack angles and speed. Hard finishes look easy for him.

I think if he keeps up this great play he could be 1st round material. If Toronto craves speed and crafttiness they should look at him. Reminds me a bit of D Fox.

He has a fair bit on his plate at both ends since Michigan is playing a freshman PF and PG who aren't shooters and then on D Howard doesn't play much and the PG is tiny and a freshman so a pest but also lost and small. He does have a stretchier scoring 5 who gets a ton of attention from defences, though.

He's doing a lot for a 19 year old, starting to put together the kind of resume at his age you normally see go in the 20s, yeah. He's not got ideal size but isn't too small to be an NBA 2 if he bulks up in his 20s, so might come down to how we see his frame developing.

I don't think he'd be our guy where we pick, but if we traded down I could see it. Maybe a trade down with a team has has 2 firsts, or if we do move someone, like OG or a sign and traded Van Vleet.
Where's the D?

Raps likely range is 12-15

We will get a good player but Masai needs to hit

In that range, Hendricks, JHS, C Wallace, Rupert would all fit our mold

Bufkin started his sophomore season slow. Had a great 5 games in December and then a crappy January. Now he's had a great February and he's back on radars. He needs to come back next year or else be a 2nd round pick.

I would take Terquavion Smith (sophomore) over Bufkin, if that's the combo-guard you'd like.

He impressed in last year's combine but I guess didn't get a 1st round promise so went back and became more of a distributor with 4+ assists and A/T = 2.

The big difference is Bufkin at the rim is 69% while Terq is 50%. Terq is mainly a chucker while Bufkin can actually show potential as a 3 level scorer. I also think Bufkin plays good defense but just needs to add weight. I don't think he is as light as Terq who has to be around 160 lbs.

Fair enough. I'd take Sidy Cissoko over either of those 2 plus JHS, Whitehead, Lewis, Colby Jones, Hawkins, Coulibaly and Sasser.

I haven't watched Cissoko at all. But, that is a large number of names you like him over. I guess you think he is 15 range player. I had no idea he was killing the G-League.
