It's mostly meaningless but it has certainly been fun seeing the likes of Mitchell, Frelick, Wiemer, Eric Brown Jr, Quero, Black, Hedbert Perez, etc. get off to fast starts this spring
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

I've enjoyed seeing (at least via box score) the young guys stealing bases. That's a fun part of baseball that I hope makes a comeback.

How soon can they have him up this year (assuming they manipulate service time)?

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Do they save a year by waiting until May or June?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

2:11 game time today. No pitching changes during innings (common during spring training) helps shorten games.

They save a year by waiting about 2 weeks, and they save a 4th year of arbitration year by waiting about 2 months

A handful of times in every game I've watched I feel like I've seen LH hits that would have been easy outs last year. I love it.

Pitch clock and banning the shift have been long overdue and MLB should probably notice how much fans (both casual and hardcore) are already loving it, so in the future they can be less curmudgeonly about rule changes for the good of the sport.

A fun group of pitchers on the mound today. Burnes, Gasser, Junk, & Uribe are all expected to pitch

Yelich with two errors in half a game yesterday. Can't wait until he becomes the full-time DH.

We'll get a nice ~5 years from him before we ship him out.

Re: Spring Training Game Thread
If they don't give him a Julio Rodriguez deal within months of him in the bigs I'm going to be legitimately furious.
