The two charges against him are misdemeanors. I doubt it hurts his draft stock very much. He should still go within the top 5.

This is interesting. Could they be trying to move up for Jalen Carter since he could be sliding because of his pending arrest? Or could they be so enamored with CJ Stroud that they are actually moving up to draft him?

I mostly agree with this guy and I really hope we are going to trade away picks for an established FA. I think this is the correct time to make a big push. This guy brings up Aaron Donald, could you imagine? I'd trade our entire draft away for that. Not going to happen but I can dream.

I hope that it is a DT but I disagree that it can't work with a WR. This guy cites the Roy Williams trade, Joey Galloway, etc as reasons to why trading for a WR never works for us, but that is a bad assessment. Just because those previous trades didn't put us over the top doesn't mean it can NEVER put us over the top. Randy Moss put the Patriots over the top as an undefeated team and even though they lost the SB that was probably the greatest team ever assembled. Another elite WR opposite Lamb could do it and it is clearly a need for this roster.

I would give up pick 26 for Aaron Donald.

The Rams went 5-12. I can't remember a defending champion falling off that hard the following year.

But it does have me wondering if they could actually consider trading Donald to rebuild. They were really bad.

I'm sure they would require more than the 26th pick, and also I'm not sure we could squeeze him under our cap.

Why did that guy have to get me thinking about this

If the Cowboys did make a major move in the draft I kind of wish they would trade up to draft QB Anthony Richardson from Florida.

Honestly I’d take Anthony Richardson or Will Levis. I think both guys will end up being the best QB’s out of this draft.

Not that I have anything towards either of those guys, but I'd rather go in a different direction.

Levis' film is bad. At least Richardson has sky high potential.

He’s looked good at the Combine.

They all look good throwing against air. It's why Zach Wilson & Trey Lance we're top 3 picks. Teams fall in love with potential.

Levis has too many red flags for me. He has a strong arm. But lacks poise. Will throw some really bad interceptions. I'm completely out on him & I don't think he will end up being very good.

Richardson is just so raw & lacks experience. Only one year as a starter. But he has to sit for 1-2 years at minimum. Because his footwork & accuracy is terrible. But he's a total freak show from an athletic standpoint.

If you want to gamble on upside & potential, then Richardson is your guy. He's also 2 years younger than Levis.

Young, Stroud & Richardson should be the first three QB's taken in the top 10.

How would we even trade up to a top-10 pick? Give away this year's 1st and next year's 1st? That's what it would take.

To draft a QB who will most likely take 3 years to get to where Dak is now? If at all.

You guys are really overreacting to the SF loss. Dak eviscerated Brady in the playoffs. We took a step forward this year. But you guys are ready to throw it out and rebuild with a new QB?

I mean, like really?

A lot of people thought the Chiefs reached for Mahomes. His didn’t win a National Title while in college and many thought he was just a system QB and would be a bust. Finding an elite QB is an inexact science.

Which is why if you are going to take a chance on one of these guys (Richardson or Levis), it would be wise to choose the guy with the much higher upside in Richardson.

Young & Stroud are the most ready to play right away. But Richardson could prove to be better than both in time.

I'm all out with any of these QB's in this year's draft. Don't like any of them. None of them imho is worth even grooming. If we do move up It better be someone besides a QB.

So you’d rather have Dak. I see you’re becoming a fan.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
