Gonna be hard passing on him

Yeah.. however if you just based on this game alone.. he really isn't playing like a PG. More of a scoring guard. IT's fine because we have Fultz and Suggs..

Lol we will see... with JI uncertain and bol2x showing he isnt who we thought he is, we need to upgrade a lot before deciding to throw all in on fvv

I like Walker, but the Magic specifically would have to get creative if he's the pick if they want him to start. They'd either have to commit to him being full time small ball center or shift everyone up a slot and play Franz at the 2 and Paolo at the 3 which probably wouldn't provide enough shooting ultimately.

I do think Walker could ultimately fill a unique role as a super versatile backup big playing 25 MPG at both the 4 and 5. But is that enough value out the 6th overall pick? Is this coaching staff creative enough to only play one backup big each night anyway?

He'd probably be a pass for me ultimately as I can't imagine a situation where Walker is unquestionably the best player on the board.

Maybe if the Bulls pick ends up like 12 or something random and the value is just too much to pass up.

This is how I felt after watching that video everyone was talking about. Ausar dropping to nine would be insane. I found it interesting that he discussed how much of a drop off he is from his twin running totally counter to a ton of scouts who say Ausar is improving at a much faster rate than his brother, even though he started off as the much lesser prospect. If Ausar was at 8, you don't pass up that level of elite athlete who has arguably the best passing of the top 10 players.

very wary of wings that cant shoot and showing athleticism in a league with very subpar talent

He is shooting 33% on ~4 a game and his shot has been getting better as the year progresses. That isn't exactly "can't shoot" territory.

He had a great game. It’s worth watching the highlights. He made some good passes and played well off the ball. I’m high on Nick Smith Jr.

Exactly.. he plays well off the ball. Especially when Black was the one handling and initiating the offense. Im saying we should consider him as a SG like George instead of a PG. Which is fine.

18 yr old 6'5 PG Duke... from AUS..

I gotta ask our expert on this BENSATIONAL , who is this guy? Like did he explode into the scene? reclass so probably the youngest...

Honestly i was looking for Dariq and Kyle but Proctor really drew my eye away from those 2.

I wonder what Nick Smith's measurements will end up being.

I know he's thin and will need to get stronger regardless, but if he's actually 6'5" with a wingspan in the 6'8" to 6'9" range like some outlets have reported, then he can definitely play full-time SG at the next level.

Selfishly wanting him to stay for next season.

Don’t give Proctor ideas.

Same with me. Imagine him playing with Boozer ( if hr lives up to the hype )

I never thought he would consider the NBA until he is seasoned... but with what he is showing im sure there are gonna be whispers to his "people" that he might get drafted late 1st or early 2nd

Whoever drafts Filipowski is going to get a steal.

Guy is underrated. He can be a good stretch 4.

He needs to show more of that 3 then if he wants to be a stretch 4. For a 7 footer he gets pushed essily by college forwards, can you imagine afainst NBA bodies?

Flip needs 1 more season and 10lbs of muscle ( no need for 2 inches cuz he is tall enough )

You know me, I absolutely hate making excuses for prospects who don't play well. But...

If you throw out the 4 games where Nick Smith was injured and played low minutes, his numbers all of a sudden look way better.

In 8 healthy games he's averaging 19.5 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 2.6 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.3 BPG, 1.5 TOPG and shooting .426/.364/.833.

He's gone over 20 points in 5 of the 8 healthy games he's played.

The Thompson twins are going to be easy to get hyped about if we draft one of them.

Yeah he is. He is a reclass... supposedly came over when he was 17. So instead of attending prom in his achool in Australia ( i dunno where ) he is instead attending the NCAAT as a starter for Duke.

If you believe it, he is 6'5 but with his fro he could be 6'8 lol. When Roach ( their starting PG ) got injured, he stepped in and produced. So even when hengot back, they running with a 2 PG combo.

He can handle the ball, make reads and passes on time. He pentrates and can shoot from the 3 when open. Kinda scrawny though.

It would be a tough choice between Nick Smith and Brandon Miller. Smith might fit the team better.

Smith would be 19 next season, and Miller would be 21. They were both on the same EYBL team last season, and Smith may have been the better player. He was a first team selection and scored 18.6 ppg, and Miller was second team and scored 13.4 ppg.
