No Curry, Giannis outside the 10, WAGNER as an HM?!?!? Kyrie top 10???????

I actually like JJJ as an HM shout, and think he's been wildly underrated since he took AD's AS spot, but I'm not genuinely not sure if you're trolling.

Wagner has been the 12th best player this season, thanks to his amazing defense, very underrated.
As for the others, I have Giannis at 11 and curry at 31.

His Amazing defence? He's ok on that end but what makes you say he's amazing? If you're choosing a great defender then why not Bam?

What logical reasoning is there for having Curry at 31? I'd love to hear it
lol bro why are you responding to him? just block him and call it a day.

These are the TOP 10 players in average of ranks in EPM, RAPTOR, LEBRON, GmSc/Poss, & BPM rates:

TOP 10 in PER (from b-ref):

TOP 10 in Win Shares (b-ref):

The 1st rankings looks very accurate compared to the rest of the lists I see here. And those metrics have a low prediction error, especially compared to PER and Win Shares.

I understand if you don't have Dame in your top ten if every player was healthy and played every game, but he has had one hell of a season being the #1 option on an otherwise bad team.

does winning games not matter anymore,

How many wins do you think a team like Portland (with Drew Eubanks as a starting C for 20 games) should win?

Not saying team record shouldn't play a factor. But Jerami Grant was the Pistons best player. And on the Blazers, he has been fairly average. If the best player on a bad team (despite defenses focusing on them) narrative was 100% true, where are the Gordon Hayward 50+ point games?

It is really tiring that Portland fans cannot correlate (or choose to ignore) the level of Dame's contract and possibility for Portland to field quality roster. You really cannot sign a supermax and then **** on your team for not making roster better.

Jokic
Embiid, Giannis
Luka, Tatum, Butler, Lillard, Shai
Curry, Durant

AD and Lebron can fight Curry and Durant for those last 2 spots. None of them have hit 50 games yet and most of them aren't done missing games. I might just give it to whichever 2 of these 4 finish with the most games.

Honourable mention: Mitchell, Siakam, Kawhi, Sabonis, Bam, Harden.

Aren’t all of those stats per game stats or per minute stats? It’s hard for me to put AD, Curry, and Durant, who have only played 42 games, ahead of Tatum who has played 63 games.

I guess you could say those stats are more predictive, but Tatum outplayed Durant in the playoffs last year and made the Finals, and AD got injured the last time he was in the playoffs.

I can give the benefit of the doubt to Curry, but not AD and Durant.

Edited my list to move KD from 7 down to 9. He’s now officially played less games than Anthony Davis and it’s not like it’s a fluke. He misses a ton of time every year. Plus I’m really not sure if he’s even better than Dame and Jimmy when healthy. Dame’s been on a tear all season and his advanced metrics are incredible. Jimmy has pretty similar box stats to KD and we all know that he’s miles ahead as a defender. Much better record of coming up clutch in the playoffs too.

Sixers have two players in the top 10. Bench is better. They are rounding into form at the right time. We might be witnessing something really special this year!

Lol Lillard and Butler over LeBron. Old Man Logan is having a much better season than those 2.

In what way? Most of the advanced metrics vs LeBron favors Jimmy/Dame. These are the same metrics that people use for Jokic over Embiid.

Perfect list except one...and it’s weird

You a browns fan and you pick Jimmy over Mitchell? Did you take your talents and fandom to south beach but never return?

I could see you saying AD but Jimmy?
