Hold up, Texas A&M got a 7 seed, and Marquette got a 2? I mean, ok.

I don't care where TAMU is seeded, but Penn State kidna got shafted going up against a team seeded way too low.

Interesting storylines for Marquette. Possible matchup against Joey Hauser. Possible Achilles heel E8 game vs. Purdue.

Marquette definitely deserved #2. Would have been fun to be in the Midwest and a possible second round clash with Buzz.

Goodness, y'all are touchy

I was making a point about TAMU's seed, not Marquette's. TAMU finished second in a stronger conference and went to their conference championship, and are 5 seeds lower than Marquette. I ultimately don't care except that it's a rough draw for Penn State.

Lunardi theorizes it was payback by the committee.

MISS: The committee did 7-seed Texas A&M no favors. The Aggies were clearly a line or two better than that. Then again, we said last year that A&M's public temper tantrum over its exclusion from the field was a very bad idea. Committee members are human, after all, perhaps with long memories.

Alot of people down here in Longhorn/Aggie land think it was collusion to get a spicy 2nd round matchup. I'm all for it.

I think Houston got screwed on 1st/2nd round location. Possibly getting Auburn in the 2nd round in their home state? Seemed like an odd setup by the committee.
