Dort could be one of the first real tests for us to see how Sam is going to manage this rebuild roster crunch.

Watching Giddey with Saric gets me so fired up to watch him with Chet.

Nice win tonight, fun to watch the comeback.l but feeling the tension between W’s and the lottery odds.

JDub could be in the all star discussion as early as next season, he's that good.

I need a dual avatar with J Dub. I never thought that would be possible yet he’s still flying under the radar. Amazing.

He had a similar chemistry last season with Favors too.

Remember that time we drafted Chet and he missed the whole season but we still had the best rookie?

Jalen Williams has some of the best footwork I've seen for a rookie in awhile. Particularly for a back of the lottery guy.

jdub uses his length in transition and finishing in such an unorthodox way that reminds me a lot of shawn marion.

Giddey hasn’t had anyone he could use as a lob threat. Will help if he can just lob it over defenders instead of trying to thread the needle between them.

If Chet is even close to what he projects to be then next year is gonna be super exciting.

This is why I’m not stressing about this years pick. I’d rather be in our position right now than Houston’s. Getting the number one odds for Wemby is a very nice silver lining on disastrous situation. We are already in a good, maybe even great situation.

Look around the league and see how many stars are on the back side of their prime. Look at the up and coming teams in the league. There will always be super teams and blockbuster trades. My point is that I don’t think it’s crazy to think in a couple of years when we could really be emerging as a true contender, the path to winning could be more favorable than 5 years ago.

He and Shai are two of the most peculiar finishers in the game right now. Dort is maybe the third, just in a slightly different manner.

JDub is already our second best scorer, passer, maybe defender (?) and I think he's the smartest player of this team and he has the "it" factor. Must be the best rookie season in a Thunder uniform.

Shai/JDub era is just starting and we don't even need Chet to reach star level for us to contend, we just need him to be a very good player.

Yep. Stay healthy. Catch lobs. Hit threes. Provide some rim protection. Other than health, the other things are a very low bar for Chet to reach.

there will need to be a reckoning at some point with shot taking. giddey will need to let go of the reins to make room for j. williams. the enormous usage disparity when all four are on (jdub/giddey/shai/dort) right now is fine but at some point it's going to be come very apparent that jdub should be outpacing giddey. wonder if giddey will do it.

Love JDub, and also the comp to Marion is pretty apt in regard to their unorthodox approach to the game in terms of how they move and finish. But he isnt the passer Josh is.

He is going to be a hell of a player. Kid is a rookie and plays like a 10 year vet. He always makes the right read. Its amazing to watch. What a ballsy move by Sam. Everyone was head scratching when he went 12. It takes guts to trust your board over the consensus.

Paolo will win ROY on usage and draft position, but Jalen is making more winning plays - and is a MUCH better defender.

At this point I’d rather trade our pick than get another guy in the 13-16 range. Any feel for what that could get us?

I hope tanking is from the table now. So let Shai play and let us go for the playoffs. There is still a great chance to get at least in the Play inn.

I would call Brooklyn and ask for one of their 3&D-Wings.
