At the NBA level it’s my opinion a few superstars have the power to make situations occur.
Owners sometimes put general managers in bad situations because of superstars’ unhappiness. Thus a coach becomes a scapegoat.
While I would love to have a superstar I don’t want a diva, problem child, or a player who causes my franchise to not win a championship and continue to retool the team to keep them happy.
Kyrie, Harden, Lebron, Durant not my cup of tea.
I’m more in the Curry, Giannis, or Jokic superstar camp where they aren’t continually in the news negatively.
I’ve never heard anything negative towards Trae but it’s just been my perception that Trae might be hard to please. Watching him play he appears to whine and manipulate refs quite often.
Thus my stance on being curious about 2 coaches gone already. I was shocked when Pierce was out so quickly.
