thunder are league average-ish as a 3pt shooting team but don't shoot a ton of them. dort-giddey is a problem there, the clippers really made the thunder pay for having them on the court together on both ends early in the game. in 2h with sarr in there i thought we were really laboring for points. after that dort-giddey didn't play a possession together until less than a minute remaining in the game.
I think it’s still more important at this stage to still prioritise development over winning. Ous right now is a net negative player but I like what I’ve seen of his game and think he has potential to develop into a really solid player for us - he also looks like he will develop into a handy 3pt threat which we need.
If Chet can become a strong 3pt threat and Williams continues to develop then that will alleviate some of the issues with those 2 playing together. But you get the feeling one of these guys will have to be moved on or take a reduced role to unlock the teams full potential. I think Giddey overall is the better player but Dort is the only guy who can consistently be a point of attack defender on guards which is invaluable in the playoffs.
