honestly I wouldn't care to have either porter or green on my team.

Green can be recovered, he does a lot of stupid things but character doesn't seem to be an issue like it does with Porter. I'd look for a starting PG if I were them, and see what Green looks like next to an actual PG first.

can he?

Porter has been a 6 WAR player last 2 years

Green has been a negative -.5 WAR player these same two years.

Green has nuclear athleticism but he has no feel for the game...and he just doesn't even care about defense. I don't think a vet PG is going to get him to defend...he's not strong at all.

I'd much rather have Green over Porter, regardless of what the stats say. I think he's going to be Zach LaVine in the long run, lot offense, very little in the way of defense.

we shall see..Green has a LONG way to go to become Lavine who is one of the most EFF scorers at he guard position when Greens is one of the least EFF.

letting iq go would be malpractice

It would also be malpractice for IQ to want to stay here when he knows he can be high level starter somewhere else

The way Brunson throws his body around the court, we need a solid backup PG.
