My only disappointment is, as with quite a few other close games that we've lost regardless of which key player(s) we were missing, the win was always absolutely there for the taking down in the clutch, only to be given away on a silver platter due to any of poor play-calling, atrocious shot selection, inexplicable closing lineups, horrendous defense, missed FTs, or just plain low-IQ moments.
I could be mistaken, but we seem to have lost a good majority of these type of endgames. I hope the team starts growing balls of clutch in the postseason.
Oh, and Blake was a scheduled DNP-CD, but Mazzulla decided late to see if he could make an impact in the 4th: Celts go on a 19-9 run. Grant subs out Blake after 8 mins: Sixers immediately go on a 12-1 run.
Blake won't always have that impact every game, but if used in the postseason there will be a couple or so where he could make his mark and give back to Boston more than dollars on the pennies for the vet minimum he was signed up for.
