Jaden Springer is the truth. Can't wait to see him in the rotation next year. Hopefully Doc will be willing to use him if needed this playoff run (lol).

The problem with Shake is this. He wants to score more than anything else. If he would focus on just distributing the ball first and second and then scoring 3rd he would be such an asset. But he misses he tries harder to score next time and on and on and on. SMH. Fun game. Would like to see the same guys play against the NETS too. Can we give House some love, he played a very good game.

I love that the role players got this confidence boost game right before the playoffs.

Fun game, Springer is developing, McDaniels is a player and I like House for a role in the playoffs.

Do these games give Shake more confidence to assert himself in a smaller role? I wish that wasn’t always a question we have to ask.

That was a great team win. Happy to see them pull the win out and show some fight. I like what I saw from Springer and McDaniels

Yeah great point! I was trying to figure out what it was about his game I didn't love. This is it. He's a mediocre at shot creator who focuses on scoring, rather than being a lead ball handler or supporting player. At least House kinda knows what he's good at, and hones in on defense and attacking close outs rather than trying to dribble the air out of the ball when it's not his skill set.

I remember listening to Dunc'd on Podcast they specifically said that he thought Springer might've been a waste of a pick! He said that he doesn't really have a role as a driver or a shooter, not sure what position he is good at etc. But when I took a look at him, I kept an open mind. I saw a super athletic, relatively skilled player with reasonable size and strength at either PG or SG. Kind of like Josh Green for the Mavs who has been a great role player. So after seeing him play here and there during the season, I think he definitely has potential.

While it might take him a few years to develop, I think that he can be better as a supporting player than Shake, as he has solid defense and athleticism. As long as he can open 3, I think he definitely has a place in this league going forward.

Maybe I have emotional damage from the process years, but I really enjoy watching the B team play....and win. Looking forward to the NETS game. Also I'm looking forward to seeing how the west shakes out with their play in games.

Using a 1st round pick to use on a player that you have to develop 3 years just to be Josh Green, is a waste of a pick. Josh Green himself was a terrible pick.

I would say we all got a decent amount of brain damage from the process years.

So Springer scored 19 pts, locked up Trae, and had a handful of pivotal effort moments in a win against a playoff team not resting their starters? Definitely can’t find him minutes on this team that chronically has an effort problem.

I'm not surprised Doc hasn't played Springer all year. It's not like we need an athletic Guard who can defend, not to mention any offense he gives you....Sigh....

I still think Springer could potentially be used for brief spells in the playoffs to harass guys like Jrue Holiday or Jayson Tatum for example. Not expecting it to go that way, but Doc should keep an open mind.

Doc? Open mind? Surely you’re joking. Doc is an imbecile.

I actually would like to see him put on Spencer dinwiddie/Seth Curry for spurts. See how he does than in the next round put him on Derrick White and or brogdon.. They have somehow been the difference between the celtics and sixers this season and springer has the perquisite strength , size and foot speed to keep up with them.

Hawks were at full strength and had the eighth seed to play for. We were at -10.5 odds. To pull off a win with our bench is crazy. McDaniels and Springer were amazing. Even Niang had clutch shots. We have the depth. Agree that Milton should focus on distributing the ball, he has that ability he just has to commit. I would give the keys to Springer though , he looks legit.

Good one, Explosions. I just about spit out my coffee reading that last part.

No shot for Springer to see the court other than garbage time in the playoffs. It would be the most anti-Glenn moment ever.
