He had a better game than Tatum but neither of our big names were stellar. Derrick White was the real star on offense today.

The good thing about that 2nd half happening is they have something to talk about and improve on. Get it out of the way early. Hawks are outmatched. Only way Cs lose is if they lose focus and/or Hawks get hot from 3.

Should've voted Smart for CP for his defense on Trae and essentially quarterbacking our defensive coverages. But I loved the preparation and approach by the whole team from tipoff. Main credit goes to the coaching staff. Them letting go of the rope in the 3rd and early 4th is more a player issue.

We didn't need Al heroics at the end if we played with more focus
This was a game where Kornet/Blake/Muscala should have gotten 5 or more minutes instead of running Al to the ground
More starters should have rested if we played with more pace
But, a win is a win
For 15 more wins like this

White had a very good game but to me Brown was the guy who deserved VC. Yes, his handle was more of a problem with the laceration and he had troubles including a bobble and missed bunny on a back cut ( which he recovered and turned into a 3 pt play)
Very first play of the game he steals the ball and finishes loudly at the rim. Totally set the tone. In the third quarter he was the only guy who showed up. In the fourth when Bogdanovich cut lead to 12, Brown went to work. Most importantly, the guys looked for him and got the ball in his hands.
Tatum was off the charts amazing in first half but he kind of mailed it in in the second half and it was Brown who delivered this time. We are so lucky to have drafted two guys capable of being the best guy on the floor.
