Yeah i'm calling a bluff here.
Harrell regained his minutes when he started complaining about not getting time in the middle of the season. Unless Harden was giving the complaints in Harrell's name, this smells like BS.

The limitations of Bridges in the 2nd half is essentially what I expected in the first half. Much improved player for sure, but he gets his shots off the move a lot, which is great for a 3rd option. Maybe title contending 2nd if you're a. Great shooter. His first half offensive game is how Maxey should play more, who is a great shooter.
Maxey will have trouble playing like Bridges because he doesn't have the length to shoot over perimeter defenders the way Bridges can, which also applies when taking it to the rim. Maxey has to play the angles and look for space much more than Bridges, which limits his options for attacking.
Watching Bridges yesterday, I could easily see him as a #2 on a contender as long as the other primary option is a playmaker with gravity who can get his own shot. Bridges has a far more complete game than I even thought as a fan of his since Villanova.
He could get there. But his lack of one-on-one skill takes away his ability to be a number one or two option for a true contender. He definitely has the ability to be another Jaylen Brown however. He would need to add more to his game and he may do it.
In terms of Maxey, his speed gets him separation to use angles, he's also a better shooter, handler, decision maker. But scoring wise he should play more like that. As Maxey also doesn't have enough one on one ability yet either. He may be better at using screens though.
I think both can develop that iso skill to some degree

Re: 1st Round : #3 Sixers - #6 Nets
Bridges can make more shots in little separation compared to Maxey, because of his length.
But Bridges (and Maxey) can’t create good separation on high volume or make shots on little separation on high volume and that’s why neither are stars.
Bridges is highly reliant on screen plays while Maxey is highly reliant on gravity generated by Harden/Biid.
If you can create good separation or make shots on little separation on high volume and also pass the ball to open teammates because of the gravity you generate, then you can be a star or an alpha scorer.

Most guys who can shoot can get buckets on vanilla defense (mostly on 2 man game with drop defense) and vanilla defenders. See Austin Reaves or starter Shake Milton.
But you need to be well rounded to be able to score on a high number of diversified type of defense and defenders which you can only gain with experience and as your team evolve thru multiple test-fail attempts in the playoffs.
Best example for this is Biid. He started being a heavy post offense guy.
Learned with the 2018-2019 Celts-Raps series to have a more perimeter scoring game approach.
Hawks series lead to a lot of heavily challenged shots at the FT line area.
Then Harden addition lead to less heavily challenged shots at the FT line area.
2022 Raps-Heat series taught him how to handle double teams, scoring against big wing defenders off switch, zone and denying him the ball.
Scoring off the zone part is where Im not so convinced yet.

For G2 and for the entire playoffs.
No showboating and no lobs please. Let’s just stay healthy and win the entire thing

Man, I love the Sixers, watch almost every game, read way too many articles on analysis, but I can't imagine even paying them a minute of attention on a honeymoon. When on a regular vacation in season I pretty much forget they exist.
Maybe it's because I'm getting older. I don't know. But seeing Levin lose it on his honeymoon makes me feel I'm a bad Sixers fan.

That's because you are a bad Sixers fan and you should be proud. It's something we should all strive for. You're a role model.

The most important thing is supporting the team not only in good but also in bad times, that's what an authentic fan is.

Nah if you're worrying about a sports team on your honeymoon then you don't have your priorities straight.

I just wish Glenn would shut his yap for once. Every time he expounds with the media he makes more of an ass of himself, the best example being throwing his teams under the bus to explain choking away all those 3-1 playoff series leads.

I think most of my RealGM scrolling/posting is when I’m on the can. And I poop on vacation, so no change there.

Yeah, I'm cool with it. Easy enough to grab your phone and fire off a tweet when your wife is taking a shower, or whatever.
It is funny though.

Wait... why wouldn't you watch sports on vacation? I mean, it's not a priority, but isn't free time a pretty big part of what makes vacations great?

Jersey shore trip? For sure. Honeymoon or at an island resort/other country? Nah. Just my take.
(Disclaimer: if it was a series deciding game in The Finals then yes of course)

In my experience... You've got more free time than you know what to do with on an island/resort. Honeymoon or not.
I think Mike's in Italy though, right? That's a little bit different of a trip where you've got more things planned than you've got time for.
