Hawks need to start hitting on 2nd rounders. I'm watchful on guys that could not only make the roster but impact it at some point.

The team needs a scoring spark at backup pg. In the mold of Lou Williams, a big part of that ECF run. Judah Mintz, Terquavion Smith, Mike Miles, Brandin Podziemski are projected to be around 46.

Yikes. I get the intent, but I'm not a fan of this.

God forbid some kid guaranteed to go Top-5 in the draft, suffers a serious injury in a meaningless scrimmage at the combine...and then falls as a result.

I think you need to actually read the article before making these assumptions.

Participation will include league medical examinations, sharing of medical history and biomechanical and functional movement testing, as well as strength and agility testing, shooting drills, performance testing and anthropometric measurements. Players will also be required to conduct team interviews, media circuits, player development sessions and other assessments, as determined by the NBA in consultation with the NBPA. Players will not be compelled to compete in 5-on-5 scrimmaging, which typically only a handful of first-round prospects elect to participate in.

If I was the GM, i would take Zach Edey at 46, but its not a clear cut choice. I would still have to take a closer look at Azuolas Tubelis, Colin Castleton, Armando Bacot, and Oscar Tshiebwe. As a fan, i would be happy with any one of those 5 guys

It's clear the Hawks need two-way players. They also need an influx of 3-pt shooting and perimeter defense.

Is Kris Murray the obvious pick at #15? Even with a limited ceiling? This will be the last top draft pick we have for a while, so....

We missed 14 of 15 3s off of ORebs. The rate at which we miss WIDE OPEN 3s is mind boggling.
Our POA defense is so bad.

So is everybody else in the draft. That is why this is called one of the weakest draft classes in years.

I would rather not draft another Taurean Prince and rather get another Domantas Sabonis or Devin Booker, who were also called horrible defenders in college.

We need shooting + defense which is what everyone needs and this draft lacks that combination outside of the top tier.

We just need to take the specialist who can help us the most. We need shooting but we got young shooters in Bey and Griffin. I would like a five with size that can shoot but Wemby is out of our range.

This draft is ass outside of the top 8

Hendricks has upside, he should be a top 10 pick
I like Dick as a solid role player as a tall SG.

After that, it's just backups and really raw starters and a couple who could develop into stars.

Might be a good year to find some mid tier star talent and stud role players. Potentially trade up for Jarace Walker or Taylor Hendricks. Feel out the draft and see where James Nnaji and/or Noah Clowney are going. Bilal Coulibaly would be an intriguing prospect. A trade for Indy's picks at 26 and 28 would give us a chance at multiple targets late in the draft or used to get another top 20 guy. These are the drafts you want multiple shots at what's considered "weak" or "lesser" talents. Could find some under the radar talents in the 2nd.

The draft is so weak, i think the Hawks should trade out or down of 15, but if they stay at 15, then Hawks should take Brice Sensabaugh or Trayce Jackson-Davis.

It is obvious that the Hawks' biggest need is at PF. Hawks need to cut Collins, dump his contract and find his replacement.

Brice Sensabaugh has a higher ceiling but also has a higher bust potential

Trayce Jackson-Davis is the safer pick but low ceiling. He should have a +10yr NBA career and possible quality starter like PJ Brown or Udonis Haslem.
