various ways to look at it

1. he is running on E and that tends to lead to him playing sloppy; trying to steal extra rest

2. Cooling him off after that last game; meaculpa for the league not suspending him

3. Trying to avoid Siakam-ing after the last game.

4. He's actually hurt and we are ****

i lead towards 4 because **** me i guess

I'd say combo of 2 and 3. Let's save the doom a gloom for when the actual news comes out.

No way it’s 4. He will be ok.

Let’s finish the job off. Bet the league steps in tomorrow and lets the Nets take 1 at home.

2&3 also for me.

Its also best sitting out Biid, he tends to play bad and be too dramatic that leads to a lot of collapse when the refs try to not give him the calls, which I’d expect they’d do if he plays in G4.

I also find Claxton is fighting for his career, he went from an all defensive big into Enes Kanter this playoffs. Then like I said, we should stop all the showboating in G1. This reminds me of that Hawks series. Claxton is 24 and immature, who knows what this kid will do out there.

Good news is we have Dedmon to scare him straight

Who is the team enforcer....

Who's got a little Mike Scott in them?

Send them in lay some hard fouls

Wouldn't want to risk PJ getting suspended.

Dedmon on the other hand

This team has to be careful today they don't come out of this game with suspensions that carry into the second round series. The Nets have little to play for other than that.

I think Embiid would be playing under different circumstances. With that said, I'm sure the knee is bothering me. He wasn't moving right the other night, but he did finish and seemed to be in good spirits after the game. Like I said if this were the Finals, he'd be a lock to play. This comes down to rest, protecting him from Brooklyn pulling some punk $hit which is what they've done the entire series, and maybe just a cool down/reset as we try and close these fools out.

This sucks because now we play the not knowing game. The team won't give us anything definitive and it'll all be up in the air. Do they know more than they are saying? Is there really a tear? Is the treadmill machine gonna break down (remember that one with Bynum)?.
This team just can't catch a health break. My conscience tells me it is a sprain and he will need some time off. I don't think we'll see him to start the Boston series unfortunately, but I hope I'm wrong. How long was Giannis out when he sprained his knee two years ago in the playoffs? Kawhi Leonard has been out for almost a week now.

I'm choosing to believe that it's a combination of gamesmanship and not wanting to put pressure on Embiid on Doc's part.

The report from Woj was that it's a sprained knee and that he could be ready by early next week, but they weren't sure if he'd be ready for game 5 if necessary on Monday.

Obviously it's going to be a fluid situation, but I fully expect him to be good to go for this Celtics series.

Kawhi, Morant, Giannis... wouldn't be surprised if there are more stars injured in this playoffs. Sometimes you just gotta be lucky.

Herro, Butler....

Clearly injured, but hopefully good to go by the time this series starts.

Hopefully the Hawks can buy us some more time. They owe us.

I'm going to enjoy this sweep and hope Atlanta can beat Boston down or beat them until it's time to deal with this.
Celtics can be just as inconsistent as us so this series is not over yet
