I have to admit I’m shocked by the lack of respect the heat are giving the scariest player in the eastern conference jrue holiday

All those buyout guys we were discussing on here are racking up DNP's (danny green, terrence ross) or they were on a team that didn't even make the playoffs and when they did get minutes they were bad (Barton)

Brad knew what he was doing. He knew those guys weren't good, wouldn't get minutes. Was a smart move to grab a young guy with some upside.

Kevin Love is the only buyout guy giving his team good minutes. No surprise that Miami would be the team to get the one playable dude from the scrap heap. Meanwhile in Cleveland, Evan Mobley has forgotten how to play basketball (11 points on 49TS% with a super high TOV% in the playoff) but even if he didn't they could have used a shooter to open things up for Garland and Mitchell.

We know that Stevens loves shooters with size and bigs that can pass. Love still does both at a high level and he also takes a bunch of charges. If Griffin moves on for whatever reason this offseason, Love wouldn't be the worst replacement in the world.

Weird if the Heat hang on to beat the Bucks, we will still draw Philly in the next round. The top seed should continue to play the lower seed.

This Bucks thing is a trip lol. All the way up until yesterday there were a ton of people who confidently had them as the best team and title favorites. Now they have to win 3 straight to avoid a 1st round exit. Life comes at you fast.

If they hold on I don't think they are any lock to beat the Knicks either. The Knicks were quietly a pain in the **** this year, and would imo be a tough out if it is indeed Philly->NY to get out of the East.

I get what you’re saying, it’s a bit reactionary. In fairness though if we go by what “1 dude is saying” every board is a mess lol. Saying this as someone who has to have been that one dude at least once before too…

I'm shocked miami is up 3-1. Even if Giannis missed some time. If he is healthy enough I still kind of think they can and will win 3 in a row. When you consider how much better the bucks are and 2 of the 3 games are in their house....I won't believe miami can do it until they actually do it. It's just too big of an upset for me to believe it before it happens.

That being said I wouldn't wanna be the team down 1-3 against butler and spo.. I think if the heat win it's gonna have to be in 6. I think the bucks win the next one and if the heat don't win in 6 they lose in 7. We will see though. Man I hope they pull it off.

Butler has been Godly, but there is no way he can duplicate this performance again. There is just no way an NBA coach will allow Butler to do whatever he wants in a one on one situation again Right?? Butler does make the right reads and won't force the ball, but you would think the Bucks come up with a better game plan to have some else beat them consistently. The Heat don't even have Tyler Herro.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

I would agree with you, but I doubt Bud will switch anything up. Bud, is going to sink or swim with Jrue/Middleton covering JB.

I see what you mean, he is only shooting 48% from 3 with elite defense. Why worry about a guy who single handedly negates our 3 headed combo guard depth?
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I forget, which one of you was arguing with me when I said MIA was not a team we’d want to face in the first round and was a legit contender? Good times

Definitely. more scary for sure than the 2x mvp on his team or the other soon to be mvp winner this year who plays for philly.

He’s been so scary so far for Miami that they’ve somehow managed to get a 3-1 lead on his team while giannis has sat.

He’s shooting 40% from the field and 27% from 3 actually this post season but who’s counting stats here- that’s close enough to 48%

Even if Bucks get through, they’ve shows themselves to be vulnerable to an All Star Wing doing their thing and guess what we have… two of those.

We just making stats up now? Let me know where you see he’s shooting 48% from 3

He is a very good player. Love his game but it’s ok to admit the “scariest player in the east” line was silly

Players are shooting 58.5% against Holiday in these playoffs, but at least he’s making up for it on the other end, with his 28.5% shooting from three, and 48% TS.

And to think, that’s 2% higher than his TS in last years playoffs lol, when he shot 38/32 from the field.

Like zoya said, classic 82 game player who gets exposed in the playoffs.
