We just had an absolutely disastrous and embarrassing playoff exit, could you maybe not do your usual thing of popping over here solely to dump on any Portland-related posts/trade ideas? Like just for a couple days at least?

I feel better now. This reminds me of the Blazers collapse against LA in 2000.

Looking forward to seeing how it plays out with Dame. Still think Portland fans are in for a sickeningly rude awakening on his trade value. There some major mitigators.

Yep, Lisa can go in the house cleaning. Ask Ted Davis back for TV or radio. His choice

A cherry on top to this disastrous season is for Marques to hang it up and Novak being the full time replacement. And I actually think Marques might retire.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Too bad that VanVleet trade didn't come to fruition.

Was thinking about this last night. At least he could've handled the ball and hit some shots when everyone else was **** all over themselves. He would've helped a lot.

- Re-sign Brook (3-yrs, $36 million)
- Middleton opts in
- Let Crowder, Dragic, Leonard, Wes, Carter, and Jingles walk
- Trade Jrue to WAS for the 8th pick, Deni, Monte Morris, and Delon Wright
- Trade Bobby to the Kings for Richaun Holmes, #24, and #38

Then all you need to do is rope in Dallas for a 3-way trade.

Dallas trades: Pick #10, Bertans, THJ
Dallas gets: Middleton

Bucks trade: Middleton, Marjon, #8, #24, 2029 unprotected 1st, 2030 pick swap
Bucks get: Lillard

Blazers trade: Lillard
Blazers get: Bertans, THJ, Marjon, #8, #10, #24, 2029 Bucks 1st, 2030 Bucks pick swap

Lillard/Morris
Grayson/Wright
Deni/Pat
Giannis
Lopez/Holmes

Picks: #38, #60

Pretty barebones roster around your stars but it's Horst's job to figure it out with ring-chasers, picks, and the taxpayer mid-level.

Fire Bud into the sun and hire Nurse. After that, I have no ideas. Hopefully, they can retool somehow.

After chewing on this for a few hours I'm starting to think Bud is back. I'm not advocating it, I'm aboard the new coach train, I just think they'll keep him.

No, we're on the hook for another year of paying him to be unable to get his shot off.

I don't see how. We lost a lot of games the same exact way. I don't think we have the fire power to trade for another star...would be nice. I think we have to run it back with the same players and the only way to justify that is by hiring a better coach.

Dame is the only difference maker, and that’s if he really forces a trade here.

Siakim doesn’t fit.

Beal not good enough.

Antman, Melo, Ingram not available

Kawhi isn’t even a part-time player anymore

Eh on everyone else.

I’d rather tear it down tbh, rather than go after them

I think there's a pretty good chance of this, but after seeing the total lack of leadership on display, and the contrast in that regard to Miami... I think you've got to try to do something to separate a team that psychologically flatlined from what comes next.

After a multi team move for a superstar fails, I think we need to look to move Bobby, Allen, and whatever assets we can for the best PG we can and hope for the best with a new coach.

Whole sale changes seem very unlikely with roster makeup.

Tied for top wish for me is this and coach. Love Jrue as a person and what he did in the finals but both sides need a fresh start, he seemed shellshocked last night and I just don't get it.

I don't care at all about the bench and role players. More than open to moving on from or keeping Brook but only under the context of a new coach who runs things more coherently and puts them in positions to succeed more often.

Now hiring: anyone who can end the make my eyes bleed iso ball offense and can effectively place both of their hands together making a T to indicate "timeout" at glaringly obvious moments.

If we keep Bud, we are saying wholly and completely that we are okay with his mediocre coaching and the mediocre results that often come under his leadership. No thank you.

After Giannis' postgame comments about the lack of adjustments on Jimmy Butler I'd find it hard for them to justify keeping Bud around.
