Lue would be great. I was shocked to hear he expects to return after all of the dirty laundry was aired. I don't know if I can even add him to the list, seems he'll be coaching the Clippers next year.

Lue or a Spo assistant sounds good.

I've always thought Cassell would be a good coach but I loved him as a player so I'm biased.

Agree. No chance - zero - they hire Lee.

Have any Spo assistants got HC gigs?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The argument against a Spo guy, if there is one, is Bam.

Nurse was once considered Top 3. I know he's an aggressive coach and willing to try different sets. What do Raps fans think of him?

For utilization? Lack of progression?

Dude was just a defensive big out of Kentucky, they uncovered real talent there where no one else saw it.

They rejoiced after his firing.

In many ways, he is the opposite of Bud. Very willing to adjust on the fly, but also willing to overwork his players.

Both. Maybe he's turned into the best possible version of himself and this is it. But they were dreaming of a Giannis like impact early on and instead he hit a plateau, and they still don't know which version of him will show up from game to game.

Chris Quinn is the only right answer for next Bucks coach. Whether or not it’s realistic is a different story but the longest tenured assistant under the best coach in the league makes this an easy choice.

It has to be Nurse imo. You don't fire Bud to go with an unproven guy or a guy with middling success. Nurse is the guy with Championship pedigree that is available and will fix Bud's biggest weakness(in game micro managing). I'm also open to Lue if he gets let go but anyone besides those 2 would be a failure

the biggest problem with Bud was he was too passive -- both with calling plays and making defensive adjustments

this team already has the basics figured out, now don't overthink things

hire Nick Nurse the basketball terrorist who will teach us to run 15 different offensive sets and will make 3 defensive adjustments a quarter

Yeah, I get that. But in a way, I still see that as a win for them. Maybe it is just another damnation of Calipari, but no one thought Bam would even come close to his current form, save for the Heat.

Bam just strikes me as one of those guys who gets overly discouraged by getting his shot stuffed. Needs a good sports pysch or something. Everyone else on the Heat seems to have Butler's crazy confidence.

I would be very uncomfortable giving over the reigns to first time HC when there are proven championship coaches available.

Nurse works his starters too much, Bud load managed too much, Nurse is known for his adjustments however and load managed Kawhi in his season in Toronto so I think he can adjust with different personnel. Nurse is pretty much the answer to every criticism we had of Bud, seem like no brainer if the interest is mutual.
