Holy **** it’s always Joe’s fault when we lose. Players have to execute down the stretch.

It’s not the time to get cute. Call a Fing timeout like every other coach in the league would have. We have continually shown we don’t operate well in those situations, we waste clock.

TO get set go.

Exactly.

This team is hilarious to me. I was so ready to say that this is the kind of hard fought loss I can accept and then they find a way for me to be pissed at them still. Doubling off harden, joe not calling a timeout, going late in the shot clock like the game is tied or something. Unbelievable...

Which is why they need timeouts.

Sorry Sean, but this is indeed on Joe. How many freaking games have they lost now in OT?
Is it like 7 in a row?
Call a bleeping TO, remove Smart, stack the lineup with your best 3-point shooters and go from there...

I heard Grande say that and quickly thought, he's right 99% of the time on all things Celtics, but he completely used his 1% on that. You do not put Smart in on the offensive end. How many smart head coaches are we going to see force the ball to Smart before someone gets it. Doc's not even a smart coach and he knew to do it.

Not really sure what all the complaining is about with Joe etc other that some of you guys just don't like him and want to find reasons to confirm your existing bias. Joe pressing the right buttons and imploring them to find another level on defense was why we almost won. Calling a timeout at the end wouldn't have automatically made the ball go in the basket and we got a great look that was just a split second late.

Disappointing result but sometimes you can play well and the other team still scores one more point that you do. I'm ready for Game 6.

You cannot be serious.

Right not to mentioned the embarrassing rebounding down the stretch giving sixers second chances.

They point of a coach is to help them know what to execute, and Joe doesn’t know. Not even getting a shot off is inexcusable.

They are not going to fire a coach they just hired like 3 months ago. If they do it's a terrible look.

Because?

Because Boston will admit they messed up. They probably don't want to pay him for several years. Lastly Boston is sending a message to the entire league that if you mess up after a few months you're out

As much as people don't want to accept it Joe isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

Of course we won’t hear about how the coach screwed up. If brad was coaching, as he should be, they are in the second round right now.

Final play when Smart got the ball he had to look towards Mazzulla for guidance, held his hand up like what the hell are we doing?

It's the playoffs, call a timeout.

Celtics are yet to have a night when their 3s are not falling. They are due. When that happens it's a double digit loss. That's why you can't lose both close games in a series.

Yeah, we lost.
However, very IMPRESSED with Horford's defense on Joel. Spectacular.
We win the next two.

You never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever go for three when the score is tied in the final seconds of regulation.

It's Joe AND Smart fault.

Tatum can share some of the blame too for deferring like the beta bitch he is. Twice.

If the Celtics could grab a defensive rebound it likely would be 3-1 right now.
