This Philly team was by a ton of objective measures a top-3 team this year. Stinks though that when Boston wins a title that goobers will throw shade at them for how easy their road was.

Boston is incapable of having an easy road regardless of the opponent. It's not in their DNA. Take away the last few plays even if it still ends up with the sixers winning and I'm fine with the loss. I always say this and I'll continue to say it... It's how we lose. I pay attention to what mistakes we keep making.

You know, even Jaylen's bad read that ultimately cost us the game I can forgive. Joe though..... He is a big glaring concern for me when that title is on the line. We only win it all if we win by enough points for him to not matter and also for our low BBIQ at the end of games to not matter. IMO. If we have to win multiple close games, I'm talking score tied with 45 seconds left close, then I don't see it happening.

So short term, I'm not that worried. I think we win the next 2. Long term though, very worried.

Didn't take it any further but not sure how what I said is worse than him calling Tatum a beta. Whatever, I'll leave it be but not sure why personal attacks are cool when discussing our players/coach.

I commented on the last thing I read. Also, attacking a person is different than a player who isn't going to see it or have a response to derail a thread.

Fair enough. All I've been trying to do is keep it on the game and away from personal attacks here but I overstepped.

I've been getting attacked for defending Tatum/Joe, and for saying no reason to dwell on the loss. Not sure why either is such a terrible take to have but my main thing is I don't think there is a need to personally attack our guys for losing a basketball game.

On one hand, using a time out allows the defense to settle and make subs. On the other hand, it allows the team to come up with a plan to hopefully get the best shot around. So there are two minds of the matter.

Joe just doesn’t seem to have any luck with ATO plays and it ends up putting all the blame on the players when they can’t figure it out. Joe is the leader. He needs to be putting these guys in the best spot to succeed and not afraid for his X’s and O’s to fail. It just seems to me like he is in over his head sometimes.

It's the second time he's giving up a open 3 to Harden. Wether he recognizes what he did or not hasn't changed wether he does it or not.

What's funny is I don't think anyone actually believes that Philly wins the next game. Literally a defensive possession and a missed 3. You flip those plays and we sweep Philly. We have outplayed them all series. We still own Philly imo we just need to get out of our own way.

The Celtics late game execution will never improve with Tatum and Smart running the offense late. And it's impossible to win a championship with poor late game execution. So everybody needs to lower their expectations until Smart is traded, benched late game or we have a coach willing to call the offense late.

Somehow i knew or have this feeling that we’ll lose this game, when smart bricked that 3 in regulation, and we Al bricked that wide open 3 to extend the lead in OT. Guys need to those timely shots in the playoffs, and somehow we can’t hit them.

Boston is a 500 team at home in the playoffs since 2018. They literally have no home court advantage. People that don't think Philly can win the next game are in denial.

It’s unbelievable how Smart just walked the ball casually like the game is tied and the clock running down. He should have pushed it fast, and not let the defense set up. We could have time to foul if we missed the shot. Low bbiq right there no question. Marcus dumb!!!
