Even if they lose this year, why would the Dynasty be over? They can flip Poole/Kuminga/picks for 1-2 players to help Curry-GP2-Moody-Klay-Wiggins-Green-Looney and come back as favourites next season.

Poole is arguably the worst guard in the league right now and has little-to-no value with that bloated contract. Klay and Draymond are washed, and will be another year older next season. Draymond prob won’t even be on the team. GP2, Moody, and Wiggins are scrubs who cannot be relied upon in the Playoffs. Looney is a horrendous offensive player. They’re cooked. It’s over.

Good bump. This dyanasty is indeed over. Still playoff contenders but should ship Klay and Green (they won't for loyalty purposes, which sucks because you are wasting the final years of Steph as a superstar)

You can sell Poole as neutral value to a tanking team looking for some guard offense.
Disagree of GP2, Moody, Wiggins. They are good. Klay and Green still bring value.

So this same team besides OPJ won a championship last season.. What are you saying?

Call me crazy but I still think they can win. I just can't count them out just yet.
Lakers are good but I wouldn't be THAT surprised if they blew a 3-1 lead.
If LeBron was at his pre-injury level then yeah it'd be over but there's still some hope for GS.

Steph Curry is still putting up 29/6/6 on 49/42 shooting. There will be free agents that will want to play with him. Wiggins will probably be better next year. Pool will be better next year. Klay is still solid. They just need to add a few pieces for depth and they'll be competing again next year.

next year all the "old" teams are older and the young teams are more mature.

Warriors core are getting older and they were expecting Poole to grow into 6th man of the year role.

Yep. They are very likely to win at home and game 6 can be a toss up like today and game 1.

Yea if Poole has negative value and Warriors are itching to dump him I'd love for the Hornets to look into it

With what pieces? The time to add a second star was when they had the #2, 7, and 14 picks. They decided to keep those picks (and draft busts/low impact players) instead of trading them. They had a golden opportunity to extend their dynasty, and Myers squandered it masterfully. This isn't just in retrospect either. Myself and many others were suggesting that GSW should trade the picks back then. I still remember some GSW fans arguing that it was better to hold onto the picks to "draft the next dynasty pieces". Outside of Draymond, Myers hasn't drafted or developed anyone of note. Taking that gamble instead of trading the picks for impact players to help their then 32 year-old generational superstar was monumentally stupid. Even if they landed the picks, the timelines of the young players wouldn't match up with Steph's timeline.

The Lakers are just a much better team. Even with gimpy Bron and turnovers and a perfect offensive gameplan from Kerr, they still end up holding the Warriors to 101 points and win the game. The Lakers are better in the median case and best case. It's reflected in the net rtgs. The 4 best net ratings in the playoffs are Boston, Miami, Denver, Lakers. The Warriors are a 0.6. Their 6th seed record is exactly right. Conversely, the Lakers and Heat seeding was a total lie.

Dubs can still win, but I think it'd be totally anomalous.

No one wants the GS dynasty to be over. Alot of people want Lebron to win though as well

Heck dub could lose and next year win the title. They are strange like that.

The luxury tax bill is a noose around their necks. They will be a gatekeeper and not a contender if they run this team back.

Teams routinely trade assets for absolutely awful players all the time. People are really deluding themselves if they don't think there is at least 1 GM out there that loves the Warriors players because they are already title winners, etc. Teams still wanted Ben Simmons after it was way clear he was not only a loser, but didn't want to play basketball at all.

They really screwed up the 2020 and 2021 NBA Draft. They should have taken Lamelo, even if the Lavar stuff was getting out of control, you have faith that your locker room would handle that.

2021 draft comes along and they have Minnesota's 7th pick. Franz is such a GSW player that he would have fit in like a glove. Then at 14, you take either the sniper in Kispert, the point-center in Sengun or Trey Murphy. That's assuming all things are equal and Golden State ends up with the 14th pick. It's possible they make the playoffs that year, who knows. But just listening to Lowe, BS and Russillo in the past, they don't really harp on the fact that they whiffed on all 3 picks. Any other team would have gotten killed. You had 3 shots at the apple and you came away with nothing. That sets franchises back 5-10 years. Post-Curry, the team outlook is bleak.

I think it's over without a ton of retooling. Curry is still amazing but Klay and Dray look like shelves of themselves.
