Let's makes things clear we're playing like the #1 seed of last season. This is what the public don't seem to understand. We've finally shown up, are awake & interested. Our defense is back & has allowed us to be highly competitive. Our offense is clicking & If our 3s continue to drop NY may be lucky to take 2 gm's. NY also one of the worst teams in the league at defending the arc as they focus on packing the paint on dribble drives. If Thibs adjusts this will open up the paint. NY shot league worst 3s so far in the PO's. Spo also does his best work in the PO's w/ high level adjustments like having Bam bring up the ball to lift Lopez make him guard the perimeter opening up the paint.

What i like most about this match up is Experience, always the most significant factor in the playoffs. Why we go after seasoned vets such as Iggy, PJ, Battier etc. this season is Love who had a solid 1st round. W/ 2 ECF's & a Finals run in the last 3 seasons we have more battle tested players. This is will always bode well in pressure PO environment. NY are filled w/ young, inexperienced players

I GUARANTEED A WIN. I've already placed a series wager on Miami. On a conspiracy angle who wld the league rather face in the ECF to generate revenue.....a Boston vs Miami round 3 battle (Philly will lose like they & Doc always does).

Did you guys notice even though Jimmy was great, it didn't look like he was 100%

I think his defense was key to the win. Also he facilitated well even if the shooting was a little less efficient.

They took Just Fart off him & threw bodies at him all game. Guess that was Thibs game plan. Jimbo did a great job hitting open players once smothered as shown on boxscore w/ 10 assists. He still ate w/ a double-double - 27pts, 10assists, 6 boards & 2 blocks. PO Jimmy doing PO jimmy things.

For this potential chip run though having a healthy Herro rekindling his 6th man of the year role really feels like the final piece.

Team is in such a flow right now, we can’t afford to put Tyler back in as a starter and have him find his rhythm. When he’s healthy, he’s gonna have to take Duncan’s minutes and potentially some of Gabe’s.

I will say that despite Gabe being bricky as hell tonight, he’s a fiesty Chivato who gets in players grill and disrupts. That’s not gonna be Tyler.

Having 6MOY Herro will obviously help though and reduce pressure on Jimmy and Lowry to be the sole creators.

I don't know where ya'll get this love for Herro

His defense is bad. He needs to come off the bench only.

Actually his defense has been much better this year. Def better than Duncan pretty close to Strus

Yeah leave it alone for now....its working, Lowry comes in from the bench as our six man with confidence, leads our undraftees to success in the jimmy less minutes, and then gets the bulk of the close out minutes in crunch time execution.

We're just playing better QUALITY basketball all around. We make better decisions, execute better, better adjustments, more disciplined & take care of the details the entire game. We're playing chess while other teams are still getting their checkers pieces out the box.

Absolutely we're showing casing our Culture - I remember not too long ago some here we're making fun & deeming it as nonsense. The world is currently seeing what HEAT CULTURE is all about. I heavily criticized Lowry last season disappearing then coming back fat & injured in the PO's providing Jimmy w/ no help as he carried us to 7 games in the ECF. But I commend Lowry, being a veteran NBA Champion, buying in & agreeing coming off the bench - understanding the bigger picture & sacrificing for the betterment of the team. That's maturity & currently the 37yo is delivering.
