I’m hoping for Den/PHI final. I want to see Jokic dismantle Embiid and win FMVP.

Not sure that's how such a final would play out. There are strong leans towards Philly due to their superior interior defense and free throw rate and percentage.

It's a coming of age final for both sides though. Philly is so good on the road you wonder how strong Denver's home advantage will be.

Anyway let's see it happen first.

I think Jokic/Embiid would cancel each other out.

It would come down to Maxey/Harden/Tobias vs Murray/Porter/Gordon.

I'd lean DEN but it would be close especially considering DEN wouldn't have homecourt.

Den/Philly would be a fun final. Happy with BOS losing.

I still think BOS can come back. Doc doesn't exactly have a stellar record in elimination games.

I love Denver and Jokic/Murray, but to me Lakers are a team of destiny. How does one bet against the GOAT with a fully stacked bench and a healthy AD?

LA / Boston would be a classic finals match-up with a new twist with Tatum against Lebron.

Yep. I don't see anyone beating LA when AD is at this level defensively.

Good news for the eastern conference. There is something missing with those guys. Can't put my finger on it. Just something missing.

Smart has it imo.

I still have some hope they can pull this series out but I agree. There is something missing with these guys. The organization built an incredible supporting cast around Tatum and Brown. They are the deepest team in the league and everyone in their rotation are capable two-way players. It's on them to deliver.

these playoffs have been crazy. usually i don't tune in until the ecf unless raps are involved, but this second round's been next level for sure.

I think Tatum is still too young to get over the hump. He has the talent but you can see the lack of composure when games get tight. He doesn’t have that grip over a 48 minute game like other superstars do. That comes with age.

Tatum just turned 25 2 months ago.

Lebron - first ring at 27
MJ - first ring at 28
Giannis - first ring at 26
Kawhi - first ring as a first option at 27
KD - first ring at 28

i thought celtics would win in six initially. i still think it goes to 7 games but not sure anymore if celtics come out on top.

Tatum has been in the league for awhile now though and the difference between him and a lot of those guys was that Tatum had a very good team around him. Lebron carried a team with Larry Hughes as his 2nd option to the finals. MJ was carrying teams to the ECF with Charles Oakley as his 2nd option. LOL.

Tatum also is very fortunate to have a guy like Jaylen Brown to take the scoring load off of him. The Celtics can win games with Tatum not even playing well. It's happened this year and it happened a lot last year, even in the finals. In a way, the Celtics are the perfect team for Tatum because although he is their #1 option, he's got plenty of help around him.

I mean we just seen Giannis lose in the first round to an 8th seed. Lebron and WADE AND BOSH choked in the finals.

KD couldn't win with Russ playing at a mvp level.

I just don't see the maturity with Tatum yet, he's not at his peak.
