this series showed why steph never will be top 10 alltime. 12-15 ok there's an argument sure. but he cant beat an old man lebron while he's still in his prime. they lost to a 7-12th seed lakers team that has a rookie coach, misfit players and a fragile center.

It shows how important it was to have Durant against Lebron in those 2 finals to help Curry win. I say this as someone who's not a fan of either Lebron or Curry.

The mystique is gone. I feel part of the Warriors beating an inexperienced team like the Kings was their experience and aura. That will be all gone now. Kind of like how teams stop fearing the Spurs after '08. Except I don't see them lucking out like the Spurs did with getting Kawhi to resurrect them for one last title run.

Klay and Draymond's best years are behind them. I think they will be both worse next year. Curry it will remain to be seen if he still remains in his prime next year. Also, I don't see how Poole and Draymond will coexist. If they decide to keep Draymond, then they have to trade Poole or you're going to see Poole put up more stinkers. Klay and Draymond are beyond washed, Wiggins is a bonafide bricklayer these days, Jordan Pool might legit be the worst Guard in the league right now, Looney too is the worst Offensive Center in the league that offers absolutely nothing on that end, and most of the rest of the role players (DiVincenzo, GPII, Moody, etc.) belong nowhere near an NBA court during the Playoffs.

They had a hell of a ride. One of the greatest dynasties ever and will be remembered as such. But it’s over.

So what team or individual did you observe that was scared of the Warriors? The predominant emotions I observed from Warrior opponents were irritation and general dislike. Add the disrespect factor with the Dray bait strategies, and it adds up to no fear whatsoever.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Warriors drafted Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody. They screwed themselves. Very few teams with Championship core's end up with 3 lottery picks with which to boost their roster. It was like watching the Pistons draft Darko all over again.

Sure, rookies contracts are cheap-ish depending on the slot, but you don't use lottery picks to draft cheap role players. Wiseman and Kuminga were obviously both projects that would need playing time to develop and Moody was drafted far too high and at a position where they didn't need help.

If they were looking for cheap role players they should have traded back or simply traded the picks for known talent. It didn't make sense then and it sure as hell doesn't make any sense in hindsight. When you have Steph, Klay, and Dray in your long-term plans you're not going to have any room to develop those guys.

I'm kind of surprised it took as long as it has for Kuminga to start talking about moving on.
