bad w/s tho

the question here would be is he a projectable point guard? Showed enough playmaking potential this season to where I think that could be a possibility. 6'4 w/o shoes and a 6'6 WS would be okay then.

What is keeping Sasser from being a consensus 1st round pick? Highly productive and effective from 3, dynamic off the dribble, and a willing defender with a 6'7 wingspan.

He's old and small? Then again, I said the same thing about Davion Mitchell and he was a Lottery pick. Go figure.

the wingspan alleviates some of the concerns with height I'd think. A 6'7 wingspan for a point guard is more than fine and should even allow him to defend up some. Mitchell has a 6'4 WS and is still a very capable defender.

Thompson Twins seem like winners as they measured up to par, had bigger wingspans and they both weighed in well at 218 and 214. I was a bit worried they might weigh in smaller.

Also think Sasser, Vukcevic, Miller, JHS and Walsh all improved their stock.

Based on the combine numbers, no idea how Whitmore is even considered a top 10 pick at this point. Undersized, small hands, ehhh

Good thing that the draft position is not determined by some measurements. Also, what did you expect? Whitmore actually measured taller than what many people expected and nobody thought he was particularly long either. The only measurement that qualifies as a surprise are his small hands. Still, combine the measurements with the solid athletic testing numbers and this combine has not hurt Whitmore's stock at all, imo.

I await the Thompson numbers tomorrow. If I don't see some 38 stand/45 running type of vertical, gtfo with that generational athlete hype.

Read that they are done with testing. Anyone without numbers skipped. Thompson's skipped athletic testing LMAO

Them even measuring was good though.
Half of the other top guys didn't even do that.

Why are guys like Keyonte George, Jett Howard, Nick Smith, Clowney, Sensabaugh not even measuring.

Then JHS, Hawkins, Gueue, Keyonte Johnson all choose to skip workouts even though they aren't top 10 picks. Those are more concerning than Thompson twins not working out.

assuming players that didn't measure or test most likely already got promises at some point.

thank god the NBA is making the testing required for all players next yr.

Was not a top 10 pick for me even before the Combine. I really dont' get why he's so loved.

Why would they? There's zero incentive when you're most likely not moving significantly for anyone based on measurements, and if anything, maybe with the lone exception of Clowney probably moving down if you measure. It's also why even Dereck Lively probably didn't want to be measured because people think he has a 7'7" ws and it's probably more like 7'3".

Thankfully the new CBA will force everyone to get measured.

I’m surprised Lively didn’t get measured. Seemed like that would be an easy win for him.

Ya I’m surprised it took them so long to put that in.

He could only lose. There's no way his wingspan is as large as *he* said it was.

I am more so referencing why we are calling out Thompson Twins, they did more than most top 10 picks.

Guys like Smith, Sensabaugh and George not even measuring is a red flag for me, because my imagination jumps to worst case scenario. Even if George measured 6-3.5 I could talk myself into him at some point, but now I jump to just how short is he, or just how bad is Sensabaugh wingspan etc.... Does Smith weight under 170lbs?
