high floor low ceiling IMO. Both could be very good starters from what ive seen. Dont really want either at 6, but at 11 sure.

Well, Walker had a good 4th quarter in game 4 vs the Warriors. And Wallace is a bit old these days, although Gerald did have a good run during his time.

I think Ausar has the most upside of what will likely be available at 6. I would take him and use our cap space to focus on more immediate needs.

I could see a big trade coming. It’s there if they have the balls to do it.

I'm looking at it like an elite alternative prep association that has the backing from lots of NBA talent for financing and coaching/training. They dominated the association, and they have dominant physical attributes and athleticism. I'm good with it.

I would not use the word “successful”
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Who can Portland possibly get for that #3 pick that would make contending with Lillard feel like a real possibility?

3 for Beal? 3 for LaVine?

What teams are desperate for Scoot? Houston? Detroit? Utah? Toronto if FVV leaves. Maybe Washington, Minnesota and Chicago are interested but not desperate.

3 and simons and picks for Bridges.

Dame
Sharpe
Bridges
Roco
Nurkic

Big and agile with 4 3pt threats.

First off congratulation to Spurs, well deserved. Hats of for organisation that only tanked three seasons in what? Near 50 years? We can make argument that they know when to tank.

From David Robinson, Duncan to Victor Wembanyama. Being one of biggest international player's promotors it's only fair to get one of the best international prospects ever. I'll never forget that summer when they out of thin air signed 30 years old Oberto. Guy ended up being freaking starter on championship roster. He wasn't great or anything, but it was almost movie like scenario.

Second thing, with Hornets getting 2# pick , we can assume Scoot will fall at 3#.

Blazers pick is the most interesting one. What will decision be? Lillard's time up? It would be foolish not to consider notion that you can rebuild around Scoot and Sharpe AND add boat of picks & assets from Lillard trade.
Lillard is 33, they have no objective path forward but to trade him.

I don't know how board will shape up when Magic are on board, but trades should be considered as well, especially for 11# pick.

There is something psychological about twins I don't trust. It's probably silly but I don't ever see one of a twins becoming all world unless both do. It's like they are capped to the other's success because they would feel bad. How many twins have their been? Morris, Martins, Lopez? I guess Brooke would be the closest to busting my hypothesis. He has been an all star while Robin has been a role player. But Brooke isn't like a super duper star. Maybe it's silly but there is something psychological I can't trust about picking a twin.

Congrats Spurs. Happy we at least didn't move back on either pick. I'm kinda in the camp of trying to trade both picks for some veteran difference maker but who knows who is available. If not I'd reach for Dick at 6 then Hawkins at 11. Who give a sh*t. Double down on shooting off guard. One of them has to work out.

Now what is interesting about this draft is 2 and 3. If Charlotte picks Scoot would they move Lamelo? I guess they could play together but feels like an odd pairing. But what gets super interesting is #3. Portland picks Scoot will that move the needle for Dame? I'm not even sure Scoot would start with Simons and Dame there. Or if they pick Miller I don't think that's moving the needle for Dame at all. Feels like they move the pick or Dame. Something large is going happen at 3.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Gradey Dick does some things that would fit well with us, outside of even looking strictly at his shooting yet. Deadly at the corner 3, a solid, smart defender who won't be a liability. Can pass well. I almost feel like I'm looking at quicker developed, taller JJ Redick in the season when SVG started trusting him more, because JJ finally understood the NBA on both sides.

I also like Colby Jones a lot too, in my opinion he's going to be a real NBA player on a lot of levels.

Jordan Hawkins is a great grab if you think his defense and passing will be okay enough, or if you see any real explosive potential as a scorer. Reminds me of T. Ross in his most impactful seasons.

I would say something somewhat similar for Marcus Sasser, as in, I feel like you draft him and see if he's going to quickly be an all star point or not. I can see something big there, even if it's just the next Nate Robinson but at 6'1.

I would love to trade up to Brandon Miller too.

I rarely look at big men, but I think this draft has a couple good ones, and we are maybe down JI now.

This Magic FO has picked well with, injuries not counting, #6 Jonathan Isaac, #8 Franz Wagner, and #1 Paolo Banchero. And I think #5 Jalen Suggs will become one too as he's already good at a few important areas. Not many teams do well like that in a short 3-year stretch.
I don't think it will end up being possible or worth the asking cost to get Brandon Miller, but Gradey Dick could be a great draft. Especially if Hammond wants to repeat his 10 win improvement goal.
And then I would love to punt the #11 pick down the road, like I know this FO might not love the idea, but go ahead and get like a far-off 2028 unprotected first from someone.

Of course, if you can trade a package with both picks for like an already proven young NBA player, I'm more than excited for that!

I would let management do their job and try and find us a franz in this years draft, with 2 shots at it, since its going to be tough to introduce 2 rookies anyways, if our goal is playoffs.

then i would go hard in free agency, and keep the picks on the table.

I could see us making offers for Van fleet, Gary Trent Jr, Monk, AR.

Or making a trade for impact player on a deal that wants to be here.
