ESPN has the Magic drafting Cam Whitmore and Jordan Hawkins
NBAdraft has the Magic drafting Anthony Black and GG Jackson
Bleacherreport has the Magic drafting Ausar Thompson and Keyonte George
SBnation has the Magic drafting Taylor Hendricks and Gradey Dick

In this quick example, No mock is shared at all in Magic outcome. Above is 8-different basketball players.
And I love all 4 mock outcomes!

Orlando is coming away with some nice assets from this draft!

JI was a damn good player until injuries robbed him. Mo Bamba some of called a bust before he became a bust.

hes played 147 games in 6 years and averages 9/5/1/1/1 on 43/33/78% shooting.........hes a bust no matter how anyone slices it

Not that he didn’t struggle as a scorer but even without considering the fact that his offense was coming around pre first injury he was an elite defense stopper, an All NBA defender at multiple positions. That’s not a bust…

Best possible outcome (except of jumping ourselves): Bulls pick conveyed, we didnt fall, Detroit & Houston fall, OKC didnt jump, Pacers didnt jump to add Wemby to there future allstar backcourt & i always liked the Spurs because Tim Duncan is my favorite player of all time. :D

First personal mock after lottery:

1)SAN ANTONIO Wembanyama-lol

2)CHARLOTTE Henderson - simply they take the BPA at #2

3)PORTLAND Miller - they take BPA also, hopefully they will trade Lillard or will be a mess

4)HOUSTON Amen Thompson - super athletic passer to trigger Green and Jabari, also projected super on D

5)DETROIT Whitmore - a bet on potential they have to do at this point

6)ORLANDO Ausar Thompson - versatile athletic"connector" good on D and with work ethic ,WeHam would salivating for.

7)INDIANA Jarace Walker - good pair with Turner and with Hali, they could go with Hendricks also.

8)WASHINGTON Anthony Black - playmaking and D perfect for Porz-Beal-Kuz trio, match made in heaven tbh.

9)UTAH Taylor Hendricks - jazz my candidate to trade-up,think Ainge will look for a player with more potential on offense

10) DALLAS Cason Wallace - they could trade the pick as well,if not Wallace could help them a bit immediately

11)ORLANDO Kobe Bufkin - can see WeHam falling in love with this player, complete, potential on D and smart guy

12)OKLAHOMA Bilal Coulibaly - super D,athletic and explosive,uber wingspan,Presti already has a boner :D

13)TORONTO Gradey Dick - they need shooters even more than those armies in Ukraine, lol

14)NEW ORLEANS Keyonte George - they could trade,if not they take a swing hoping to find a creator with potential

I can't see Houston or Detroit taking Amen. They both have too many projects already, and Amen can't hit the backboard from over 30'.

I know Jaylen Brown couldn't shoot either when he came into the league, but he was around 10 months younger. They are both close to the same size. Brown shot 43/29/65 his last season in college. Brown's first NBA season 45/34/69.

Those Thompsons are certainly interesting and now they've measured out really well too...I've kind of disregarded them due to shooting and choosing to play in a league with overmatched children, but they could both be special. I forget which pod I was listening to, but the analyst said they'd both be best at PG.

Sick physical profiles.
Aggressive D and solid defensive instincts.
Court vision (I won't say elite but...) and (allegedly) BBIQ.
They both seem humble and polite.
Still -I don't know - but I could get behind it.

I don't have the same confidence in Black. He might be really good, but I just don't see the fit to justify the possible upside.

This is a fun one...I don't think our picks are at all obvious and they're both pretty high, so it's risky to just focus on need. If Dick falls to 11, you take him but you can't take him at 6...also have to figure in any FA/trade plans (you don't draft two guards and trade for Simons, etc).

This draft could give a bigger picture into FO’s comfort with Fultz as lead guard. There’s almost 100% chance Ausar is available at 6 and then Wallace at 11.

Can’t imagine a G gets drafted to play behind Fultz Cole Suggs. I’d almost guarantee Gary’s option isn’t picked up either.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Well, we had a 45% chance to nab a higher pick or keep our pick. So needless to say I am happy with the outcome of staying at 6 + 11.

Now that the speculation of us going higher is over. I do not have a mock draft to share. What concerns me I think is there are going to be a lot of busts or this will be a deep draft. Which is it?

The twins are either legit or they are not. If scouts are sold on their future intangibles I think we use our 6th pick to grab either. Even if it doesn't help us today.

My initial hope is we get some combo of Hendricks or Dick who both seem to have a very very high floor but admittedly lower ceiling.

i dont see Charlotte taking Scoot. they have Rozier for years and Ball as PG. they arent bringing in Scoot and moving his bad shooting off ball and they arent taking the ball out of Ball's hands and moving him to SG. I easily see Charlotte taking Miller, as Oubre is a FA and use Miller at SF.

And i dont see Portland taking Scoot with Dame, Simons and Sharpe there. I see them trading that pick, so that to me is where the draft goes sideways.

It would be really interesting if Charlotte was super high on Scoot. Now I am not saying Scoot can't play next to Lamelo, but what makes Lamelo so valuable is that you've got a 6'7" guy playing at the 1 and gives a team a huge size advantage at that position and others, and theoretically Ball could be a great defender, which has not been the case.

Lamelo for Franz straight up....which front office says no. I realize it is he-who-must-not-be-named in trade talks. Pretty close in my book.

A back court of Scoot and Ball wouldn’t make sense. Miller makes more sense in their system.

Portland will blow it up and take Scoot.

that's what I'm thinking and for some reason feel like Dame ends up in Milwaukee.

1- Wemby
2- Miller
3- Scoot
4- Thompson Twin (Houston slowly assembling pieces, if they can stay healthy)

5- Where the draft really starts.
6-

yeah that seems like an easy shoe in unless they fall in love with Ausar

With #6, I think it's between Cam, Ausar, and Hendricks.

With #11 - Lively, Dick, Jett, Whitehead

*this assumes we make both picks.

I really hope Portland does blow it up for everyone's sake. Scoot and Sharpe could be a nasty duo for years to come. Not the time to give Grant a huge contract for the play-in. Time to cash in on Dame and give him a chance to win somewhere.
