another braindead response from mitch. always bpa at #2, especially for a team with 0 playoff appearances in past 7 yrs.
zero faith in this dude
every time he speaks it enrages me
is he really trying to lay smokescreens already? lol
just say, "we will consider all factors and take the best player on our board."

now watch us trade the pick for Jordan Clarkson and 2 future 2nds

Maybe he's heard teams are trying to trade up for someone other than Scoot. I dunno.

Huge win for us. Scoot should clearly be the pick and his fit next to LaMelo is fairly ideal when you consider how they would compliment each other.

Off topic: Nice to know so many of the same names are still posting. Even if you have bad Miller takes :)

After last summer with Bridges and Bouknight I really don't like the idea of adding another player that might have questionable maturity. If we draft Miller we better be damn sure he's not an idiot. All things being equal I want a guy with a good head on his shoulders (see Mark Williams).

I really want Scoot but would be okay with Miller.

For those of you who were mad we were winning too many games at the end of the season:

If Scoot had played all year like he did vs Wemby then yeah he would be a lock to be #2.
Problem was he was significantly worse than that for the majority of the year.

Miller had a bad game vs SDSU, but overall he was pretty awesome in the SEC tourney.
He had some crazy highs this year too.
Dropping 41 on GG Jackson with two buzzer beaters was pretty I am HIM performance.

I don't really care about Tournament performance. We've taken a ton of guys who went above and beyond in the Tournament and they've whiffed every time (except Kemba).

Maybe they need to get a dude who bombed instead?

Also, I'm calling Boston and seeing if they want #2+Miles or Gordo for Jaylen Brown as a starting point.

I'd also see if Houston wants to move up #2 and something for #4 and Eason

I don't think Eason is worth dropping from the general tier break after Miller and Scoot.

Jaylen Brown is the only player worth considering a trade for. I'm not interested in anyone else that could be available (Towns, Siakam, Lillard, etc).

Siakam has 1 year left on his deal, no way is he worth a top 5 pick.

Yep, going to be funny seeing this entire board trying to get us to trade LaMelo and/or the #2 pick all summer for a bunch of garbage because we're the Hornets.

Yep, absolutely no sympathy for blatant tankers. Glad to see the Rockets pick 4th as well.

I don't have anything against San Antonio but the preening is totally unnecessary. If the 1997 lotto doesn't fall their way they're probably more like the Utah Jazz over the last few decades, great small-market management but no titles.
