I'm biased but I think the Bucks are more desirable than the Suns or Philly.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It will be very interesting to see what we do with our medical staff if we hired Nurse. Does he throw them out and start with his own (often this is the case) or does he keep the same (extremely effective*) team?

I'm not trying to stir up the load management debate again, but it seems his methods would be somewhat opposed to what we had previously.

*they had our players ready for the playoffs, so they did their job.

I'm not understanding why a coach would bring in a new medical team. He does play his guys more minutes but he also didn't have a team with so many on the brink of Medicare. He isn't going to start playing Jrue, Khris and Brook more at their age. Nor Giannis with his chronic knee. We load managed to the #1 seed and went into the playoffs healthy. If he says he's going to change that and play them more games/minutes I'd pass

It's common place with a lot of other sports, new coach brings in the team that they have a good working relationship with. It isn't to disparage the old team, just means they are on the same page from the word go. Conversely, I guess, our current team knows the players extremely well as we've had a fairly settled team.

Just a point of interest for me. I'd be really interested to see what (if anything) Nurse does differently.

It may depend where our roster ends up this offseason.

Suns’ cap is a mess worse than ours. They have 163m committed to just 9 players.

Woj worded that kind of weird. "Do something more formal. Meet with the front office and ownership".

So apparently we've had "informal talks". Usually you interview with the GM and then with ownership if/when you're a finalist.

It wouldn't surprise me if Nurse's approach was to go on vacation and then assess when the dust had settled and if a team like Houston wanted to get there's done quickly then he wasn't going to go to Houston

Nurse doesn’t change my stance, Chris Quinn is the guy.

Is there a reason besides the fact he's Spo's top guy?

Could have saved a lot of anxiety if they started with Nurse but better they finish.

Bucks fired their coach 2 years after winning the championship. Something, I'm sure, potential new coaches take notice of.

I voted nurse. I’m not super confident he’ll be any better than Bud but not sure he’ll be worse. Just… different.

There’s too much unknown about the other candidates. They have a much lower floor than Nurse. Nurse is the safe and logical bet.

Phoenix fired a 2 time COY and had a second round exit with an injured Chris Paul and Durant only playing like 8 games. That’s much worse. Philly went to a game 7!in the second round. We have the most justifiable fire, not making it out of round 1.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
