The most consecutive shots he made was like 4 or 5 then they cut it to different scene. Haha

I don’t see the magic seriously considering Black. His shot is awful and is extremely questionable form (not as bad as Fultz but still not great). He is also not a giddy or Lonzo level passer to make it even remotely able to work around his shot. Would rather keep Fultz.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yeah… Talented kid but that jumper is broke. I don’t think I cant go another season being at the bottom in 3PA and 3P%. Hell of an opportunity to grab BPA while filling a desperate need.

If Markelle Fultz and Franz Wagner had a baby, his name would be Anthony Black.

For Orlando, Black feels very repetitive to what we already have.

I just found myself looking at highlights of Paolo and Franz and you just forget some of the incredible plays they all kind of meld together. But we can talk all we want about these prospects but it might just be as simple as getting two guys to help them by shooting. One big one guard/wing. So Hendricks and Lively (who showed out with his shot at combine) and Hawkins/Keyonte/Dick. It might be safe but damn we need to get as much space for Paolo and Franz as possible.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:

Anthony Black is Paolo's little brother.

For example, Charlotte would probably jump on Miller over Scoot if it wasn't for Miller's off-court issues and this recent "in bad shape" situation but now they have to do all sorts of gymnastics to convince themselves that Scoot and Ball are a good fit. At least Scoot seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Portland is like a guy who has given up on the relationship with his girlfriend and hasn't been putting in effort for 3 years. He's just waiting for her to break up with him but for some reason she never does. Now he's thinking "How does she deal with so much abuse?". They're halfway through a rebuild and Dame is still there... I wonder if the new CBA means his contract is low-key harder to move than everyone thinks?

Next, the Rockets are slated to take Amen Thompson. Just what a young, wild team needs, a guy who hasn't seen a half-court set in his life.

At least Detroit can take a hand in glove selection in Whitmore and, of course, the Spurs win the big prize.

As for us, we probably have to take Ausar at 6 and just ignore the red flags. The good news is that he's a nice fit and we could use a bit more athleticism.

how exactly is he a "nice fit"?

He's a nice positional fit. You can never have enough wings and right now we have Suggs/Cole backing up the 2 (?) and Okeke backing up the 3.

His poor shooting, level of competition, age etc are the red flags.

That’s former ROTY MCW to you. Put some respect on that name.

Honestly, I get similarity vibes between the two and part of me thinks that might draw WeHam to Black. They love MCW warts and all. I’m sure they’d love to draft a younger version with hopes of still correcting his jump shot.

I'm warming up to the idea of Walker or Hendricks at 6. I think the jumbo lineup is legit given our 6'10 wings.

Lol.. i forgot. The greatest 1st game of any rookie in NBA history ROY MCW over the likes of GA.

Yeah.. WeHam probably asked themselves, what's better than MCW? Why it's TWO MCW.

Yeah same here... with the non factor of Chuma, unreliability of JI... we can't depend on Admiral (lol)

Hendriks might be a good #6.

Just hope the teams before us don't do something surprising and a player drops to us and we take him ( kind of like TOR with Barnes and we happily ended up with Suggs)

Espn needs to sign Adam Spinella to fill the hole that Schmitz left.

Really don't see that changing unless movement happens.

For me, Cam and AB is on my list for players available at #6. From there, the Magic will be able to develop whoever they pick plus #11
and run with them as they continue their come up from the ground up this upcoming season.
