i'll give them props for getting to this point and defying all the haters....thats about as much as you'll get out of me....they're still the opps

Love and Lowry combined for Zero points in 32 minutes played, and the Heats still win.

I love the NBA

i watched Heat-Celtics. Twice. I still don't remember when Smart scored his 7 points.

Adebayo was such a monster tonight ,but Caleb Martin shots and Duncan Robinson cuts really saved Heat during bad streaches.

Grant Williams barking at Butler... like bum who do you think you are?

I don't think Herro is much of a problem, and on defense he isn't worst than Duncan Robinson, probably better than Strus as well. They went to finals with him playing big role as a rookie.
But what i think that happend is that injuries of Dipo and Herro made them bound better. Like , i don't know, on Euro in soccer when Denmark played above their heads after Erikson heart attack.

And at least portion of blame HAS to go on Celtics Brown, Smart and Horford,
Horford is painfully bad whole playoffs, Brown makes incredible amount of mistakes and Smart just looks invisible to me , on both ends. ONly time you see him, he is flopping and doing his Lowry impressions.

Brown will ask for a trade this summer

Can we be in the run?

I’d be happy to take Herro off their hands, but not for Suggs…he’s our best chance to develop a Heat-like culture.

Kudos to Spo…he’s highly- regarded but still underrated. Riley finds the Dawgs and Spo makes it work.

I just live Jimmy Buckets, even when he's on the Heat. Why oh why would you get in his face in the 4th quarter when he's ALREADY a huge 4th q player

I'd really like to see the two teams with longer tenured coaches make it to the finals
I still believe in Magic! Welcome to the Franz & Paolo era

we need to people in their scouting depart. not only do they hit on their picks a lot, they can find undrafted contributors

cant agree. Herro no worse than Strus and Robinson on defense, a very good passer and would give Butler a break with having to score 30 every night. and he can provide "gravity" himself because opponents know he can go off on any night

Welt must be amazed at how the Heat are in this position without tanking and stock-piling below-average draft picks. He has us sold on a 10-year plan. While Magic fans complain about not losing enough games, the Heat ball out.

I’m hoping for a Nuggets and Heat final.

Jimmy and Jokic need a chip.

**** what the league wants.

Even if you believe defensively he's interchangable with Duncan & Strus. His minutes have also been going to Gabe Vincent & Lowry, who are both better defenders than Herro.

Herro is also a ball stopper. Their offense has been ran thru Butler & Bam, and then occassionally by the random Heat player who has the hot hand (like Caleb Martin yesterday).

If Herro played offensively more like Strus/Duncan Robinson, being more of a C&S and occassionally creating offense off the dribble, then it should theoretically work, but thats not how its been for the Heat this season. He wants to be treated like a star, when if he instead settled for 25 mins & 15-18 ppg and potentially came off the bench, they would be a better team for it.

There is far more offensive consistency in touches and it keeps the Heat players in a better rythmn.

Calling Herro a "very good passer" is really stretching the imagination of "very good". He's average at best. He gets assists largely off the virtue of usage.

He could give Jimmy a break, but to be honest, does it look like Jimmy needs a break? He's been more surgical in the 4th than any player in the playoffs. The increase in usage hasn't hurt his production at all, he's been more efficient, and in the end those possessions are better suited going to Jimmy than Herro as long as the usage doesnt harm him.

I don't argue the gravity point, but I think the ball stopping, & lack of touches for other players on the team hurts the team more than the gravity he could provide, eap considering the Heat have no shortage of shooters so gravity really isnt a problem for them to get from the rest of their roster

we wont see eye to eye on this. I would counter and say, Miami hasnt played with good passing PG's and has Herro play the role of PG many times throughout the game. in the regular season, Jimmy led the team with 5.3 apg, Lowery at 5.1 apg in 31 mins and Herro at 4.2 in 35 mpg.

Jamal MFing Murray! Gosh damn
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

They only need Booker, KD and high level role players. CP3 is not necessary. Ayton can be replaced by a tough C.

KD is.. 37??? How much is left in his tank? They need one more star.

Jokic, Warriors... etc The west is tough for just KD and Booker

KD and Booker is plenty. That’s two players who can average 30 easily. And they alone put up a better fight than Lakers are against Denver. They need a really good complimentary team around them. They have no bench and no defense at all.
