It's kind of like when you go out with your buddy he's sloppy drunk and embarrassing himself. At some point you've seen enough and you tap your friend on the shoulder and say"okay it's time to go home."
Smart already gave you the answer. He literally said there's nothing Joe can tell them in a timeout that they can't figure out on their own.
Just another quote undermining Joe from the players.

Player's are way too full of themselves.
This is the exact same thing as Irving saying "I feel like we don't need a coach"
Well Brad got fired because the player's had the power.
Now as a rookie GM he gave in and gave them a rookie HC who they walked right over.
This is the result.
The rot is the player's having power and not wanting to be coached. Nor wanting to stick in their lane of which Smart never plays to his ability level or his role on the team.
You can't win with Smart as your leader when his example on the court is a role player chucking all game long and refusing to set up Brown and Tatum if he happens to make 2 good plays in a row.
The rot is in the leadership. And therefore need to ship out some of the leaders, and you need to start with an iron fist at the top to regain control. So I guess that means Stevens has to be out too, I hear the Warriors are firing their GM, get that guy back in asap at our top.
Then get Nurse in this org or Monty asap. Tell all the other players to stfu or ship them out. They have no say.

Did you watch Game 1? Horford did the timeout taunt first, taunting us for no reason, when you guys were up 8 points in Game 1.
It's not really humiliating, it's well deserved.

He's a flawed player and has been absolutely terrible this series. Boston needs to seriously consider if they want to pay him a supermax

I agree that the players shouldn't have any say in who becomes the next coach, but I don't think they hand picked someone they could walk all over. Tatum's favorite coaching story is Coach K calling him a soft little bitch from St Louis.

Though many players in the NBA are way overpaid, just the idea of paying this man 300 million is comical to me. Yeah I know people say what's the alternative. My answer is to do your due diligence and find anything that remotely gives Boston Good "fits' and assets in return.

At least I will get to “enjoy” watching two well coached and cohesive teams in the Finals.

I know you are being somewhat facetious here but I actually think the Denver and Miami finals will be a great one. The genius of Spoelstra vs the genius of Jokic. I think Miami is going to give Denver all they want. I think it has the potential for an alltime great series. Hopefully it delivers. I love watching basketball when it’s played correctly. It CAN be a beautiful sport.

Horford was definitely in the coaches seat but I don't know about the Smart part.

Smart was seen drawing up plays with the assistants during shootaround.
