Jimmy Butler himself score 16 measly points on 35% shooting in our famous game 7 against Toronto & only 4 rebounds! He got outplayed by Tobias Harris & JJ Redick in that game! Is this your king?!

Again the distinction between effort/drive and production. "Dogs" vary from game to game in terms of production but never vary in terms of drive and effort. At no point in this series have the Celtics' prime movers exhibited less than maximal drive and effort. Marcus Smart's pronouncement "don't let us get one" before game 4 epitomizes the drive of the central players on that team. They're highly driven and they'll be the first team in NBA history to win a series down 0-3.

Imagine James Harden producing a quote like "don't let us get one." Tough to imagine, I know.

Stan van Gundy literally said in game 3 that the Celtics had quit in the middle of the game. Everybody who watched that game saw the Celtics rollover & quit and every media show talked about it for 2 straight days.

Here’s the TNT guys talking about it from 3 days ago in case your memory is failing you:

Right! It's like...PJ Tucker is a dog right? I mean...Total Dog. He woofs, he barks, slaps the ground, paws at random $hit. I mean, he's a dog. But...On some nights, he's only like a French Bulldog...But still a dog right? Then...Sometimes he turns into like a Cane Corso with a splash of Doberman Pinscher (that's when he hits his threes). Then sometimes he's like a Dogo Argentino, but he can be clumsy like a Labrodor...So it's a weird combination with dogs and just overall doggish athletes...I get it...I mean dog players in general just being dogs every night, but sometimes being a bad dog. Like "Dude, stay out of that garbage!" which translates to "Dammit PJ, quit fouling three point shooters damm you!"
I think Joel Embiid is a dog too...Sometimes he's a Bull Mastiff and other times he's like a Saint Bernard, on some nights he acts like a sad Basset Hound. In the end, it's all about who's a dog and whos not am I right?

It's the perfect storm for this to happen. With the talent disparity on top of the injuries for Miami.

You know Vincent won't be 100% even if he comes back, Herro out, they are in a bit of trouble. They really needed to take care of business on Tuesday night.

So in other words, regardless of who wins, Ferry Avenue is right. You have it set up that on any given night the 'dogs' might either show up or disappear, but the ones that win on that night were the ones who "exhibited" more "maximal drive and effort".

You really need to do a pre-game podcast so fans could really understand what's going on in the minds of the players. It would be epic.

Maybe just maybe it’s the fact that Miamis unstaffed guys were shooting above their pay grade

But no it’s that Boston finally decided they care … yeah that’s it

Unless he's out-dogged by Smart.

Joe Mazzulla's job might just have been saved even if they end up losing in 6 or 7.

Tatum was the real dog all along. It's not about winning or losing, it's about the dogs we meet along the way.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that the dawg Jimson Tatler is going to lead his team to the Finals. Or is it Jaymy Butum?

It’s a bummer that Gabe Vincent got hurt. The Heat are just down too many guards now to stay competitive.

I was just coming back on here to say this lol how this guy who wasted away on our gleague team can make this dog filled heat roster and even get some playoff mins. I get the heat have been hit by alot of injuries but we weren't the healthiest team during the regular season.

If Jimmy were a real dog, he wouldn't be drinking beer or wine during the playoffs. He's only allowed to drink water and eat the exact carbohydrate amount for optimal performance in the playoffs. Poisoning his body with wine during the playoffs is a real Harden (decidedly not dog) move.

Perhaps he's been influenced recently by fraud MVP and good friend Joel Embiid (also decidedly not dog). If Jimmy was a real dog, he would have guaranteed a win during one of these press conferences. Instead, Marcus Smart (final boss dog) proudly proclaimed "don't let us get one" which showed off alpha dog mentality; thus trumping any recent Jimmy Butler dogness. I can explain it to you guys, but I can't make you understand it.

This is the Celtics that went hot in game 2 and 6 and 7 against Philadelphia. They are virtually impossible to beat

Last year we were leading 3-0 in the series against the Raptors, then it was 3-2 and we won 4-2 in the end. There is a reason why no team ever came back from a 3-0 deficit, although the Heat does have an extraordinary amount of injuries...
