Some VC thoughts:

-- The candidates are Tatum, Smart, White and Team.
-- Horford had a sneaky good game at the offensive end, with the rebounds and assists, but he doesn't rise to the level of the top candidates overall.
-- The 20-5 opening run is what won the game. The stars of that run were Tatum, Smart and maybe Horford.
-- "Team" makes a lot of sense, between the balanced scoring and the defense.
-- Tatum's "gravity" is partly reflected in his assist numbers.

Btw, I feel as if Pritchard could be due for a big game if he gets the minutes. I still believe he will be a decent role player even if not in Boston.

I don't know. He got a chance and immediately decided to heroball it, turned it over and was gone. I think that's his last meaningful minute in a Celtics uni.
