He said the same thing after game 4. He’s trying to go viral. He’s a corny ass bitch

He also guaranteed a Finals appearance last season or two seasons ago. I can’t remember which cos he says it all the time. No difference when a fan like me says it.

If Cs really believe they’re the better team and play like it, then the only team that can beat them are themselves.

The Heat bench had 53 points, the Celtics bench had 15 points.

The Celtic starters don't normally score 95 points.

Mazzula has to figure out a way to get more out of his bench - thru plays, rotations, and leading these guys thru offensive and defensive schemes with BENCH PLAYER INVOLVEMENT. He's not shown that he can do that. That's the biggest cause for concern, even of more concern than Brogdan's elbow injury.

Don't look too far ahead, boys. Just keep pushing. It was never going to be easy... but man, I'm gaining some confidence.

I've hammered Mazzula all year and playoffs. The 6th man of the year who provides the most pts by far is hurt. Think that is the main reason for lack of bench pts.

Ball pressure was great to see. Most of the other roses were handed out by other posters in this thread. Let's see what happens game 6. As the Jays hopefully realize (or continue to realize perhaps), they have teammates who are better 3pt shooters than them. Had moments of frustration with Tatum, JB, and Smart in-game, but obviously the total package for the game was fantastic.

I don't know how long DWhite can sustain his hot shooting streak, and i don't know when Jimmy will suddenly explode for 45. I do know that the Celtics have somehow found a way to limit Butler and Bam, so let's hope that continues. One game at a time. Win or go home.

Not sure how bench player involvement and Brogdon’s elbow are different concerns. With Brogdon basically useless now, our top 2 options are Grant and Rob. 15 might be low, but how many points can your realistically expect out of this guys? Rob takes open dunks and Grant takes open 3s. Fairly limited toolboxes for those two.

Not sure how cute I want to get brining in Pritchard or Hauser. I’d rather just extend the minutes of Tatum/Brown/Smart/White to make up for Brogdon.

He's also only playing 7 or 8 guys. Starters have to carry. Heat starters don't have much other than Bam and Butler esp with Gabe injured and Strus struggling.

Honestly, the team does seem to have more heart. Finally.

In spite of joe.

And good to see Miami's ridiculous streak of ridiculous shooting slow down a bit and for the Celtics to get back to normal. Keep up the defense, play inside out and play with purpose and intensity and no team can beat the celtics.

Being at the game was amazing, sometimes though I feel like I miss things vs watching on tv. Also get a much different feel being there. It's crazy how much the tone down the noise in that building lol.

Was it just me or did Joe seem really good last night? I felt like he had an ear piece in and Brad was calling the shots or something.

Make no mistake about it, I'm still pissed with them for being even in this position of having to win four straight. If you have this type of game in you, why wait til you're down 0-3? So they better seal the deal... OR HEADS WILL ROLLLLLL!!!!! Everyone is gonna get RealGM-traded and RealGM-fired. Which might be worse than the real thing.

We won in a blowout, leading from minute one to the end. What difference does it make how many points the bench scores? If bench players are not complete zeros in the offense, they contribute to other players scoring.
The real reason for concern is Jaylen Brown getting to the line ZERO times in 37 minutes. He's rapidly turning into 34 year old Klay Thompson minus the 3 point shot.

I hate this team for giving me hope
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

It is terribly depressing that they put themselves in the position where they now have ZERO margin for error. The fact that they had double digit leads in the two losses at home hopefully doesn't come back to bite them. Just when I had written them off they pulled me back in! I'll admit it's fun and exciting but as I stated, somewhat depressing that they could potentially waste a great opportunity now with just one slip up.

Al’s ball movement was dynamic last night and was a huge key to great start.

Agreed but it is what it is. Have to tip your hat to the Heat bench and to Gabe Vincent. The no-names have killed us in this series. I’m just glad the team and the coach showed heart and determination. Game 6 could come down to makes and misses but hopefully the team brings its best.
