If/when Miami loses game 7, I wonder how good Mickey Arison will be paying the tax for this team that choaked away 4 straight games being up 3-0.

Highsmith did not play all game. Zeller played 2mins. I doubt very many coaches put someone in cold at that point in the game.
But you don't understand. Any of those guys for sure would have made the play because it never has to be proven. Also they are all NBA All Defensive players. We have like 5 Rodmans on the bench ready to go in on a moments notice.

I'm not entertaining that statement. His defense is why he's a Heat player in the first place. We still have Lowry and love that could have been in instead of Strus.
In a world where any of them are in in place of Max and it works out, Spo would have been brilliant. In a world where any of them are in for Max and it doesn't work out, Spo would be moron. All of them have major warts. There's a reason why half our rotation's next job will be bagging groceries.
No one would blame spo for having Lowry instead of Strus. Have you forgotten that Strus is hunted on defense? He's a bad defender. Bad. Lowry in place of Strus would not be a moronic move. He's a good rebounding guard that boxes out. He would not RUN AWAY from the inbounder like Strus did. C'mon you're being disingenuous now.

Kyle Lowry.
I don’t think Lowry would have had that mental collapse to just forget about White.

Man **** off, Heat are on the verge of being the very first team to blow a 3-0 lead, fans have every right to be disheveled atm.

Just hit me now as well. When Jimmy first got fouled there was 2.1 seconds left. After they confirmed he'd be getting 3 free throws they increased the time to 3 seconds lol.

We won 2 rings and he made key plays. If we win and Bam makes key plays he'd be remembered the same. And you're the one who started this Bosh Vs Bam thing. No one was making that comparison till you did
Give Bam LeBron and Wade and it’s a **** wrap lol. End of discussion, don’t quote me again.

I don’t give a flying fuxk, “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready” damn near as fake of a slogan as “Heat culture” BS we hear nonstop
then when a cold ass player gets beat you'd be here bitching about that too.

Maybe if Lowry was the one who was put in the game. But High Smith? literally, no one would have an issue with that. that's literally his only role on this team, as an athletic defensive player.

Saudades.

It will be the end of this iteration of the team. We have gotten championship level production from our role players. We can go into any gym in June and win getting 60 points between Martin, Strus, Gabe, Lowry, and Duncan. The fact that the supposed stars no showed for most of the game and left them hanging is the biggest indictment on the “get bam and jimmy help” crowd. There is nothing left to build, nothing left to add. Up 3-0, the stars have to close the deal. East Coast Clippers

Lowry has never had a defensive lapse to my memory in that kind of situation. He would have fronted the angle to Tatum and then smothered White, hell, I'd expect him to foul there.

No, you have a guy on the bench who knows he's suppose to play defense and will be locked in on doing his only job. I am surprised Strus quit playing defense and watched the shot, the finals was there for the taking, you can't stop till the time is up. IT WAS THE CHANCE TO GO TO THE FINALS!!!! WHY STOP THEN?

Re: Game 6: Celtics @ Heat 8:30pm, 5/27/23
Im mentally tapped out, one of those moments ill never forget. Kind of like how Cubs fans felt when Steve Bartman stole an out from them. I think this is over.. boston will likely win convincingly in Game 7.
Lets speak the facts before we start pointing fingers.
1. Bam and Jimmy were bad, really bad. Their play made the game feel like we were getting blown out by 30. Our role players are the reason we were even in the game. Jimmy showed up in the final 3 minutes. Thats not good enough.
2. Duncan Robinson was very good offensively for most of the game.. but that final 3 point attempt in transition, at that point of the game, was just awful. When you have a clear lane to make a game tying basket, in Game 6, you have to take the higher percentage play. That play is forgiveable in the regular season, inexcusable when the stakes are that high.
That play reminded me of Butler’s 3 point attempt last season in Game 7. Just unnecessary.
3. I agree with everyone about Strus on the final play. We needed rebounding. At that point even Zeller or Haslem would have been a better option.
